Tri County Lexus is a complete scam—stay far away! Two weeks ago, I saw their ad on Cars.com for a Lexus Si 300 with 48,000 miles listed at $25,000. It seemed like a good deal, so I called and went to their dealership. Turns out, it was all a blatant lie—the car actually had 79,000 miles, and its condition was nowhere near what they showed in the photos. Then the sales consultant asked me to sign a document just so they could “check with the manager” about a discount due to their false mileage listing.. Next, the salesperson and manager bring out a contract stating I’d have to pay $1,000 per month for 72 months—plus a $3,000 down payment—for this overpriced, old car. I never even agreed to buy anything! They relentlessly pressured me, trying to justify their scam by saying the car is worth $42,000 elsewhere and that they’re offering a “special $16,000 discount.” Then they had the audacity to blame me for “wasting their time”! I felt extremely uncomfortable and even scared in that place—I ran out of there. These crooks tried to sell me a worn-out car for $75,000 when its real market price is only $23,000–$27,000. This dealership is a FRAUD. Avoid them at all costs! More
Don’t waste your time. When i inquired about the great price i was told by Malessia that it was because it had been in inventory for a while and they were motivated to sell it to which i asked about its condition and was told it was in good condition at which point i made an appointment to see it. Drove 30 miles at which time i waited at the reception desk for 5 minutes while the receptionist sitting at the desk did something else until i was approached. The salesman Eddie then took me to his desk and took all my info which i still don't know why as im just there to look at a vehicle. Once that was done i was escorted out to the lot at which time i was told the vehicles we were looking at were not the one i came to look at but the vehicle i came for was sitting right next to ones i was being shown. At that point i was told that the vehicle i came for needed to go into service and couldnt be sold for a while. My response was that's fine as im not in a rush. Upon returning to the showroom i was then informed that the vehicle i came to see which was still listed on Cargurus and was available per the phone call i made checking its availability an hour before was NOT FOR SALE as it had electrical issues and couldnt be sold. To add to that this vehicle is sitting on the front line right on RT46 with a sales flag on it. So in retrospect i was lied to to get me into the dealership to try and unload a different vehicle on me at a higher price. Real honest practice. Good to know that the Lexus brand allows this type of practice to happen at their dealerships. Beware. More
