Don't purchase anything that Might need Reimbursement!!! In 2010, I bought a 2011 RAV 4 and an extended warranty because the program at the time was if you don't use it, it gets reimbursed. The company who In 2010, I bought a 2011 RAV 4 and an extended warranty because the program at the time was if you don't use it, it gets reimbursed. The company who was the 3rd party servicer of this program went out of business and Toyota is honoring the reimbursement. On October, 6, 2015, I submitted my paper work for reimbursement and was told it would be 4-6 weeks before I got a check. On January 2, 2016, I was told the money was being sent by toyota financial the following week and checks would be cut. I waited until January 12 and called and was told the Controller was out sick and expected back the next day and check would be cut. Today is now January 25, 2016 and no check has been cut. I have had nothing but a good experience with the service department but the finance department is a joke and completely incompetent. Buyer of extra programs be warned!! More
