Was in the market to upgrade our Toyota Highlander 2008 Limited earlier purchased at this dealership. Obviously, being as we loved that SUV, we bought an 2021 certified used Highlander. It was a no brainer. Financially we received over $ 1000.00 credit for having serviced the 2008 SUV at Team Toyota throughout the many years of ownership. Secondly, we had concerns with driving with a physical disability.Mechanically, the 2021 Highlander could be adapted in the future if needed for transferring to a wheelchair from the driver's seat. Rich Kearney, our salesman, was such a decent human being. We were treated with kindness and courtesy. Rich understands what he sells and believes in the products. He took time to explain the functioning of the vehicle and obtained a owner's manual for the vehicle which we preferred to an online manual. Overall, from sales to finance, it was a great experience.

Maria Bobkoff and Gavin Fuller were the two people we interacted with at Thompson. We explained what we were looking for in a car. Dealership searches led to one possibility but it did not work out. Maria explained that we would have to order the car and it would be built in Japan and shipped to the east coast. We signed on for that and were kept informed of the cars progress in manufacturing and shipping. When it was delivered both Maria and Gavin were there for the delivery.

DO NOT RECOMMEND — WORST SERVICE EXPERIENCE I’VE HAD I will never bring my car back to Tri County Toyota after this experience. I booked an appointment online for 3:30 PM for an oil/filter change and multi-point inspection. Before my appointment, I received a call asking me to come at 3:00 PM or earlier. I explained that I couldn’t come earlier—that’s exactly why I booked the 3:30 appointment in the first place. The person on the phone clearly didn’t like that response and told me that if I wasn’t there exactly at 3:30, they wouldn’t take my car because they were closing. That was already a terrible way to start a scheduled service appointment. Then it got worse. My car was taken in for an oil/filter change AND multi-point inspection, and somehow it was back out in around 15 minutes. When they brought it out, I even watched the employee slam my car door. As for the “multi-point inspection,” I seriously question what was actually inspected. They told me my tire tread was 8, which surprising i had the tires installed at Costco only about a month ago. The whole service felt extremely rushed. But the worst part came when I got home and opened the hood. There was OIL LEFT ALL OVER THE ENGINE BAY AND PLASTIC COVERS. I took multiple photos immediately showing the mess. Oil was visible around the engine components, engine cover, oil-fill area, and front plastic trim. This is what my car looked like after paying a Toyota dealership to professionally service it. If oil was spilled during the oil change, the absolute minimum I would expect is for the technician to clean it up before returning the vehicle to the customer. Instead, my engine bay was handed back to me covered with oily spots and residue. A dealership service department should make you feel confident that your vehicle was properly inspected and cared for. This experience did the complete opposite. Rushed service, poor customer service, questionable multi-point inspection, careless treatment of my vehicle, and an oily mess left under the hood. Based on my experience, I absolutely do not recommend Tri County Toyota Service. I will not be returning.
