Yesterday, I went to Tri-Lakes Motors (Ford Dodge Chrysler Jeep RAM) in Branson, MO. I was there trying to buy a pickup. Asking price, $37,500. This price was $7,000 over Kelly Blue Book. The vehicle was low mileage, so I was going to offer them $34,000. After discussing with the salesman, of course he has to go consult with the boss. He goes to the boss, who's playing tiddlywinks in his office with what appears to be a bunch of other salesman. The salesman comes back and says, "Well, you're not going to be very happy." He proceeds to tell me they won't come down at all, not even one dollar. I looked at the guy and ask him if he was serious. He said he was, because they had $37,200 in the vehicle. I asked him if he was really going to sit there and tell me a dealership was only going to make $300 on a vehicle priced at $37,500? He said yes. I explained to him that would be less than a 1% profit, and that salesman usually make 2.5% commission on vehicle sales. He said he was sorry, and that he could not lower the price. I got up and started to walk out. I stopped at the boss's office and expressed my dissatisfaction. The boss originally tried to convince me they were only going to make $300 at their listed price. I expressed my dissatisfaction once again. The salesman had followed me to the boss's office, and said, "So, are you calling me and my boss a liar?" I said, "Yes, you're both liars." As I was leaving, the salesman told me to, "xxxx off." That was it, I lost it. I turned around and literally went nose to nose with this guy. His boss started to get mouthy as well. He took his watch off and said, "You don't want any of this." Mind you, this dude was 5'8" and weighed about 150. I laughed at him, called him a few names and walked out the door. About 6 of the staff followed me out the door. I turned around, expressed my dissatisfaction, and left. Folks, I have had thousands of dirt bags lie to me over the years. These guys were just as bad as any other thief. Don't do business with these xxxxxxx. Just stop lying. If you can't sell the car for less, just say that. Stop lying. More

Filled the tank for me after purchase we all know expensive fuel is so that was a big thank you from me. The detailing department was very busy so it wasn't detailed at all but no big deal. They offered me a free inside and out detailing for the issue. Free oil change for the first one. All and all very happy with my purchase and the staff at trilakes.
