Wow. That was the easiest car deal! I found Trinity online. I was nervous dealing with a new dealership, considering I've always bought in my hometown from the same dealership. Taylorville was a little bit of a trip from Bloomington, but I have to say, I will make that drive again for my next purchase. The saleswoman was so friendly and so helpful. Not worth the drive I drove an hour to check out a Wrangler that was in a limited color. The initial salesman was very personable and knowledgeable about the cars . When it came time to seal the deal I was presented with what I think was a very insulting offer. It is very easy these days to find the values of your trade in and the selling price of new vehicles. When I turned the initial deal down ,the sales manager came in and increased my trade in value by a small amount,still thousands of dollars below the value. After I again turned it down ,he launched into an insulting speech about how my truck was not worth any more,remember the internet pricing sites. It was obvious we weren't getting anything done. So I left . ,5 minutes later he called trying to get me to come back. I didn't and got good deal elsewhere. I don't mind dealers making a profit but I do mind my time being wasted and treated with disrespect. More
