We apologize for any frustration or misunderstanding you experienced during your recent service at our shop. We understand the importance of clear communication and transparent processes, and we appreciate the opportunity to address the concerns you've raised. Upon receiving your vehicle on 6/27, our team conducted a thorough initial assessment, and an estimate of $6,000 in visible damages was provided without teardown. As part of our standard procedure, vehicles are often initially assessed without teardown to establish a roadmap for repairs. Upon further teardown and inspection, a supplemental estimate of $12,000 in damages was written. Additionally, the price of the repairs was brought up to $16,000 due to the fact that when we performed the installation of the new quarter panel, we did have to replace a parallel connecting part. We made sure to keep you updated on these charges and where they were coming from. We value your understanding of this process and the complexities involved in accurately assessing and repairing your vehicle. We did reach out to you to discuss the supplemental estimate and our estimation process. Unfortunately, there seemed to be a misunderstanding, and we apologize if this conversation did not meet your expectations. It's important to clarify that we are committed to following ethical and industry-standard practices, and your concerns regarding insurance fraud were addressed with both you and your insurance provider. We appreciate your cooperation in working with your insurance company, State Farm, to clarify the situation. Following this discussion, your vehicle was authorized for repairs, and we promptly began addressing the damages. We apologize for any delay caused by the backorder of the right quarter panel, and we kept you informed about the status of the part and the progress of the repairs. Upon completion of the repairs, you picked up your vehicle on 8/17. We understand your dissatisfaction with the cleanliness of your vehicle. We did offer to get this taken care of in our service center, but you left before we were able to complete that process for you. Your feedback is invaluable to us, and we appreciate the opportunity to improve our services. If you have any further questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to reach out.
