Because of a valve cover oil leak, and #4 cylinder inefficiency, and *supposedly* broken and seized exhaust manifold bolts, and BOTH catalytic converters need replacing, they recommended a new engine. inefficiency, and *supposedly* broken and seized exhaust manifold bolts, and BOTH catalytic converters need replacing, they recommended a new engine. 3.5 EcoBoost, oil change w/ Synthetic each 4k miles. Oh - also engine fault for bank #2 oxygen sensor - which was never a problem until I brought it in a month or so earlier for an oxygen sensor failure on bank #1 - they recommended replacing both. 2 days after leaving got the fault for bank 2 - called the service tech *4* times with no response back. Brought it back because of this, and to have the serpentine belt changed, and to get a quote one the ONE oil leak - very small - on the valve cover. All this - and they said BOTH catalytic converters AND A NEW ENGINE!!!!!!! 156k miles - original owner - VERY well kept. Paid twice for 2 transmission flushes/filter changes - $750 apiece - because of the work - was ok. My point - always maintained. My recommendations ONLY to people I know that ASK me if they should to there is xxxx NO. More
