Tustin Hyundai, please learn from Costco Tire Center. 9;45 AM service appointment on Wednesday for an oil change and service the battery. Arrived at 9:30 AM at the service desk. Surprisingly I was tol 9;45 AM service appointment on Wednesday for an oil change and service the battery. Arrived at 9:30 AM at the service desk. Surprisingly I was told 2 to 3 hours for battery diagnostic and an oil change. Since no one call back, I called around 12:30 PM to find out that battery needs to be replaced and oil change will be done within an hour. An oil change and battery service take more than 4 hours! This is not a first time they don't care about my appointment. Their appointment system is poorly managed and not required. I think when you show up at the service without an appointment will get you out faster. Or go somewhere else who can honor your appointment. Appointment means you will be served in specific time that you arranged. Ask them about their definition of "Appointment"! More

The Genesis line was recently spun off by Hyundai as a separate luxury line. I initially dropped by the dealership in December to test drive a Hyundai because of a promotion Hyundai was offering for simply test driving a car. I had recently spoken to a few friends about the G80 so I decided to test drive it and was impressed. I was assisted by John Moody, Sales Professional. Over the course of four months, John Moody would reach out to follow up without being pushy. When I finally decided to make the purchase, John was extremely helpful and courteous throughout my entire experience. His professionalism was a breath of fresh air for an industry riddled with salesmen with little training and bait-and-switch tactics. The dealer experience was also very pleasant. I told John and the dealership that I wanted to avoid the back-and-forth games played by so many dealers, and that I had thoroughly researched the car and its selling price in the market. We negotiated over the phone. After a few phone calls, we made a deal. A few days later I walked into the dealer, test drove the car I was going to take home, signed the paperwork, received my "tutorial", and drove home with a new G80. My best experience purchasing a new car. This dealership happens to be owned by the OC Auto Team. Every employee I encountered spoke well about their company, saying it was a unique dealership where team work and customer service was emphasized. I can't over emphasize what a pleasure it was to work with this dealership. More
