Where do I begin… I am a single mom, I made sure I got out of my current car loan prior to getting a new car because I didn’t want the upside down problem. I went into Tustin Toyota and was painted an ama out of my current car loan prior to getting a new car because I didn’t want the upside down problem. I went into Tustin Toyota and was painted an amazing picture on their Fuel cell car. I was told how there were multiple stations being built and I’d have 3-6 in my city, I was told the gas card would last me the full 3 years, I was told that the value of the car would only go up because it’s the car of tomorrow. What I wasn’t told was that the stations would go down constantly, that I would spend hours/days trying to get fuel, that I wouldn’t be able to work some days due to not being able to get fuel, that the fuel would go from $13 to $36 and it would cost $130 for 230 miles, I wasn’t told that the fuel pumps wouldn’t give you full fills and after waiting in line for an hour your only get 40-60 miles from the fuel you just put in. Toyota LIED! They LIED to all of us to sell these cars! Now after 16 months I go back into Tustin Toyota to be told the car I haven’t even had for a year in a half that I paid $22k for is now worth $6,000! And Toyota has no suggestion on how to help! They need to stand behind these cars! The salesmen don’t even want to sell them anymore because they know they ate screwing people over! Shame on you Toyota! BUY US OUT OF THESE NIGHTMARES! I don’t even care if I get my money I’ve put into it back! Just get me out of my loan! More
