The dealership worked with me and my bank to get around some roadblocks with cross state transactions. At first it was very frustrating dealing with these polices and state laws. Missouri residents take care of their own titling and registration. Illinois has too many regulations in my opinion. There was no way to allow for the truck I sold in Missouri so I had to pay taxes on the full amount. This will require me to file a form in Missouri to get the difference back from my trade. In that respect I would recommend avoiding the state of Illinois. Having said all that, the dealership worked hard to make sure my wife and I were happy with the deal. I would have no problem buying from Uftring Ford again. However, if you plan to bring your own bank from another state be prepared to jump through hoops.
