I went to the service department after having a less than ideal service from another dealership. I felt like I needed a second opinion being that they said both my front and back brakes and rotors needed to ideal service from another dealership. I felt like I needed a second opinion being that they said both my front and back brakes and rotors needed to be replaced. I scheduled an oil change and asked them to also check over the vehicle (I thought they did a multi-point inspection, that was NOT performed) and the brakes. I was notified that my front brakes caliper boot was “torn open” and that the whole thing would need to be rebuilt as the original parts were in back order. With everything they recommended, it came up to over $1200 for replacing my brakes as well as a “brake service” for the rear brake drum. I then took my car to a person that works on brakes and he said the caliper boot wasn’t torn at all, only frozen and he was able to fix it with no issue. I spent less than $200 elsewhere for the replacement of the front pads and rotors. The hood of my vehicle was also left open without me knowing when I left the lot. Quite unacceptable. It’s really sad because I used to work at Andrew Toyota and love the people on the sales floor but I’ll be taking my vehicle elsewhere for servicing. More
