Good deals take time.............. I was looking for a used higher end Bavarian import as a daily driver. Normally for higher end vehicles, I tend to go to the greater Chicago area beca I was looking for a used higher end Bavarian import as a daily driver. Normally for higher end vehicles, I tend to go to the greater Chicago area because of greater selection, lower price, and I can complete a deal in 90 minutes or less from the time I walk through the dealership door to the time I walk out with the key to drive away. I do not use internet reviews on dealerships or car makes in order to gather information. I do use the internet to find out what available stock is out there and look at the pictures to determine if I would be interested in that particular car. By chance, I saw that Andrew Toyota had a used X-5 on their lot taken in trade. I decided to go see it and determine if it might be worth considering. Upon our arrival, Matt Riffel, Sales Consultant, greeted us. He located the car, drove it to the front door, and went out on a ride with us. We went through the typical back-and-forth on price and value of my trade, and once we got close in number, John Moore, used car sales manager, came over to see how best to facilitate the deal. We agreed on a price and I was paying cash, so it would be a quick and neat transaction. Matt was excellent to work with through this process. He was low-key, low-pressure, and everything I would look for in a sales consultant. My only two concerns about Andrew Toyota is that construction of the facility is going on and that was a distraction. The time it took from the time we arrived at the dealership and completed the transaction took over 5 hours. But, it seems a good deal takes time, and it saved me a drive to Chicago.
