On September 18, 2023 I purchased a car from Unique Auto Imports and requested to register the car in Iowa being that I do not live in the state of Virginia. About a month later I received some documents fr Imports and requested to register the car in Iowa being that I do not live in the state of Virginia. About a month later I received some documents from Unique Auto. When I took the documents to the Iowa DMV I was told that the documents were insufficient to register the car, which was also the case for the Virginia DMV. The paperwork given to me was a “re-assignment of title by Virginia motor vehicle dealer” along with an incomplete New York title. What was not given was a title which is required by Virginia state law. I brought this up with Unique auto in October 2023 and have been in communication with a member of their tag and title department who has been working to get the needed signature to complete the title with the previous owners of the vehicle. This communication has lasted the last four months and I have not received a complete clean title to this day. In this time, I have been given the initial 30 temporary tags and two additional temporary tags which have all expired. Around the time of new years, I was told that I needed to register the car in Virginia via the dealership but I could not register the car in Iowa like I had paid to do. On January 13, 2024 I drove down to Unique Auto to talk to their management about the situation. I was given an email for corporate, but they would not produce any further contact information for anyone who could solve this issue. Following this, I spoke to the tag and title representative and expressed that I wanted to return the car. On January 15, 2023 I was put in contact with the Manager at Unique Auto and he told me that I cannot return the car and I was to pay the fees to register the car through the dealership. He said that they provided all the required documents by law to me which is not true. I do not have a title and the documents that were provided to me are insufficient to register the car on my own in both Iowa and Virginia. More

I purchased a 2012 Mercedes Benz S550 on 11/25/23 from Unique Auto Imports in Dumfries VA. After the test drive we mentioned to the sale rep that the steering felt off so they assured us all was well and Unique Auto Imports in Dumfries VA. After the test drive we mentioned to the sale rep that the steering felt off so they assured us all was well and even had a gentleman come out and add a quart of power steering fluid to the vehicle and attributed the issue from it sitting for a while and not being driven. On the way home we noticed that the vehicle was making a really loud squeaking noise and it was very noticeable when driving . We notified Mr. Mehdi via text that it sounded like the suspension was having issues. Mr. Mehdi responded back via text saying “ That’s not a problem and that he could get an appointment scheduled to have it looked at”. When we arrived back at the dealership for them to take a look we were told there was nothing they could do since they didn’t have an onsite repairman. I am unsure of where the disconnect was because we were promised the opposite via text from Mr. Mehdi. We were also told that we had purchased the bumper to bumper warranty with integrity and that we could take the vehicle to a Mercedes dealership to have it serviced. I went to the Mercedes dealership and they inspected the car and told me there was almost $4,000 worth of repairs to the suspension that needed to be done and that these were issues that the dealership should’ve been aware of. The total repair cost was $3919.05 to be exact. I had just put down $4,500 for the downpayment so having to spend an additional $3919.05 was indeed a gut punch! I was asked to leave a google review and I did leave a great one because I thought my deal was great and the process seemed seamless. Boy was I wrong and I am actually feeling swindled to say the least. ☹ They had the nerve to call me about me posting a bad review and going to the BBB but still have yet to reach out to me for a resolution. STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS JANKY DEALERSHIP!!! More

BUYERS BEWARE: Nontruthful and Hidden fees. Called several times to the dealership to ask what the price of the vehicle would be, enabling me to go get the funds to make the purchase. Really shady business rather than being up front with fees that apply on top of the advertised price. All I ask is be transparent and upfront and not shady. Honesty is key here. More

The absolute worst experience I've ever had purchasing a vehicle. The price on their site is just an imaginary number. My vehicle was $4,300 more then listed. I left there on June 29th. I had to make another payment on a vehicle I haven't had for over a month just so I didn't get a late payment on my credit score. Amal is a scamming, lying xxx. The only reason I even went through with the purchase was because I drove 12hrs to get to this dump for a vehicle I THOUGHT was priced lower then all the others I was seeing online. Then the price jumped. DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM THEM! More

Alot of their cars they sell are lower than what the value of them are worth on KBB so you think your getting a great deal. But after a few days, lights started to come on the dash board. Took it to 2 different shops to be looked over and to get a inspection done due to I live in MD. Both mechanics found over $3k of work that needed to be done before even passing inspection. When purchasing the car at the end they had added on all these hidden fees and taxes to where it was over an additional $5k so it made it more than what they advertised it for. On top of only form a payment they would take was CashApp. So in the long run, you better buying a car w/o papers from a homeless stranger you meet off Craigslist than from this place. More

Price way higher than advertised. They call a 100 times to get you in there, but took calls 4 days in a row when the vehicle they sold was in dire need of repairs to get a call back. I never got a call back, finally I continued to call until they finally put someone on the phone. I’m not one to leave bad reviews, but people work hard for their money, and shouldn’t have to pay thousands more just to make the car safe and pass inspection. More

Very poor customer service. ..actually no customer service at all, blatant customer neglect, Amal quoted me over $7,000 in fees. Vehicle listed for $25,366 and Amal told me the final price will be approximately $32,900 including fees, tax and tags. Every issue listed in the other reviews regarding pricing and poor customer service is correct. I sat for almost 2 hours with no other customer needing assistance. Noone tried to help, A picture of my license was taken, although I had not test drove the vehicle....my file sat on a desk and completely ignored for approximately 2 hours until I told Matt who was pleasant that I had to leave and that is when Amal took over and it was all downhill from there. I was flabbergasted when I was told they only take cash or cashier's check as their two forms of payment and Amal refused to give me back or confiscate the copies of my driver's license...he actually told me to come back in 30 days and he will shred it. More
