I recently bought 2 new vehicles at Universal Toyota and I was very please with the service and all the help I received from my salesperson Mr. Juan Esquivel. Im writing to you as I am unhappy with this experience. -at checkin two people were manning the desk but only one was actually assisting people. The other lady there actively avoided acknowledging anyone—it took the 4th person coming in to finally say “we’ll be with you in a moment.” Luckily one of your techs was actually paying attention and called for assistance -the constant shouting: why are sales people yelling and clapping on the floor when you are trying to push units? I heard one verbatim say “I was talking xxxx on you…just putting it out there” -you have two music systems for some reason. 1 playing normal elevator type music the other had nicki Minaj talking about her crotch; I don’t know why you would do that in a place you are trying to make a deal In any case I want to specifically thank Carlos who checked me in, Matthew Martinez who discussed inventory with me, and Mrs. Uribe at the window—they were very professional and polite and it saved the experience More
If you are keen on paying unnecessary deal markups then this would be the place to go. Sales Manager Geff was unwilling to negotiate on the 5k markup that was on a Sienna as well as wouldn’t negotiate on t this would be the place to go. Sales Manager Geff was unwilling to negotiate on the 5k markup that was on a Sienna as well as wouldn’t negotiate on trade in price. He then proceeded to ask me to come up on my down payments even though they were not willing to work with the deal on their end. It’s a shame they are trying to capitalize on the consumer and line their pockets even more than they already are. I feel bad for the next person will with surely pay the ridiculous markup and ultimately get shafted by Universal Toyota and it’s greedy owner, general and sales managers. More
Sells cars with markups, will lie on the phone to get you to come in in person, only to present you with a markup on the price sheet. Today (02/23/2022 at 10:30)I had appointment for service of my truck which had recall. When I got there, I was told "my truck won't be ready today, I asked for rental car. Service advisor called for Enterpr of my truck which had recall. When I got there, I was told "my truck won't be ready today, I asked for rental car. Service advisor called for Enterprise to pick me up, When I went to enterprise office, I was told I have to pay for rental car. A) Toyota service advisor did not tell me that I have to pay for rental car B) When I had set up appointment, I was not told it won't get done same day C) after 2 hours I ask my truck, I find out they even has not touched it yet. Universal Toyota dealer ship do not understand service with appointment means job has to start and done same day, other vice service has to provide complimentary rental car. By the way, when I was in service advisor office, another customer walked in and complain that He has to bring his car in for third times for the same problem. also, he was told his car won't be ready tile tomorrow too. I will not recommend Universal Toyota dealership to anyone. I will not use this dealership anymore. More
