Do not shop here for your car. They are price gougers. I got a written qoute for a new Rav 4 Pime yesterday. So I go into the dealership today to put my down payment. Lo and behold the price increased by $ got a written qoute for a new Rav 4 Pime yesterday. So I go into the dealership today to put my down payment. Lo and behold the price increased by $8,000. Because of the “market adjustment”. The salesperson did not mention anything like that yesterday nor did the Finance Manager Mike Chambers when he called me this morning to verify that I was coming down. Why didn’t he mention anything about a market adjustment? He had all my paperwork and the quote. They waited until I drove there and took most of my morning to tell me the price is much higher. Then Mike tried to lie to me and tell me that there was no price on the quote just the specifications but there was a price and then couldn’t say anything but that the price I have to pay is the higher price that is $8,000 above the MSRP. He then went on to say that California is doing it. I called a California dealership and they quoted me a higher price even before they scheduled me to see them. Total ripoff!!!!!!! More

The sales person was nice but I’m pretty disappointed. I went in to look at low priced vehicles I told them my credit situation they showed me one car the only car they said I could get approved on they off went in to look at low priced vehicles I told them my credit situation they showed me one car the only car they said I could get approved on they offered me a pmt of 500-580 but never even told me what exactly the pmt would me I asked if we could get to a smaller pmt I am not even washing a big difference under 500 and that was the end of the Experience. I asked them not to blast my credit all over the place and they did just that and to primary banks who more likely would not take someone with my credit. Not only did I not get a fair chance to buy a car here they sabotaged my chances at being able to buy a car anywhere else my score dropped 40 points because of this. Not happy at all. More

We have done business with Universal Toyota so many times it pains me to write this review. There is a Tacoma shortage so we have been flexible with the delays. Not only are they not in, Universal Toyota said they will no longer honor our agreed upon price! We had a signed agreement with Rocco for these two trucks. We kept getting the run around. He is very nice but I suspect those over him stopped him from keeping his word on the deal. Adam, the general sales manager was the one the raise our price nearly $2,000. I guess they felt why worry about taking care of a long time customer during a supply/demand shortage because they know they can sell these for higher price. Very disappointed Universal Toyota would not keep their word! Be careful when buying from these guys. Make sure they don't change the deal at the last minute! ***After hearing Heather's response I downgraded this to a 1 star. Apparently it is common practice to agree on a price, give you a time frame, and then decide not sell you the vehicle if they have a better offer from a new customer. Look elsewhere all!*** More
