I purchased a 2023 BMW X7 from Unlimited Motors the vehicle had so much undisclosed damage. Very disappointed in how Unlimited Motors does business. More
The sales staff was very nice and each helped out during a busy period. They fell short when they delivered a car that was dirty inside and out and had 29 miles of gas according to the gauge. I did not pi a busy period. They fell short when they delivered a car that was dirty inside and out and had 29 miles of gas according to the gauge. I did not pick up the car until the day after the purchase. So they had time. Growing up, I worked as a car detailer for my father‘s dealership, so maybe I have a little more critical eye than the average person, but to help secure simple customer satisfaction, you at least have the car reasonably clean with a full tank of gas. Tip: to get your customers attention and to build loyalty, you go above and beyond. The Wow Factor! For instance; the paint protection and GPS tracker should be no-charge. Putting a no opt out $1000 add-on to the invoice on a maybe $100 investment, only build resentment. I will not buy another car from there, just because of that. If that same paint and protection and GPS tracker was listed as a value added feature for free then the customer would think, well, they didn’t have to do that. How nice! Wow! Just by doing a little extra, you will stand out. If you leave the customer with good feelings, they talk about you. More

Concerns with Unlimited: A Customer Experience Initial Purchase Experience Our journey with Unlimited began when we purchased a vehicle from them. Unfortunately, the car was unreliable, and we struggled Purchase Experience Our journey with Unlimited began when we purchased a vehicle from them. Unfortunately, the car was unreliable, and we struggled to keep it running. This led us to trade it in for another vehicle, which resulted in us being significantly upside down on our loan and taking on a higher car payment than we had planned. Trade-In and Additional Costs When we reluctantly decided to trade the car back to Unlimited, we were required to pay an additional $5,700 just to get out from under the previous vehicle. We then acquired another vehicle from them, but within the first four weeks of ownership, it spent three weeks in their service department due to faulty seat belts that needed replacement. Service and Warranty Issues After finally getting the vehicle back, we brought it to our trusted mechanic for an oil change and to address an outstanding recall. We were surprised with a $1,635 bill because Unlimited had not informed us of a hold on the “amazing” warranty they had sold us. Their inspection had failed to identify not only the faulty seat belts but also a loose ball joint and leaks in the oil pan and timing belt cover. Customer Service Concerns Reaching anyone in Unlimited’s service department proved difficult. It was only possible to get through after calling the sales department first, and even then, a return call would sometimes not come until the next day. This experience left us feeling frustrated and distrustful of their practices. Limited Choices and Final Thoughts Despite our hesitation to return to Unlimited, they were the only dealership with the specific vehicle we sought—one that was in excellent body condition, clean, drove well, and had low mileage. However, purchasing a used vehicle always carries the risk that mechanical issues were not properly addressed, and we had hoped we could trust the dealer to conduct thorough inspections. Our experience with Unlimited demonstrated that their inspections did not adequately cover essential safety features. More

I had a local mechanic inspect the vehicle. In addition to the concern about two owners & the electrical issue, there was a TPMS tire sensor light on. Evidently, Unlimited was just fine selling the car this way. I asked them to correct the sensors and they agreed, telling me it was not a big job. The car went into the shop on a Monday. I finally received a picture on Thursday showing the dashboard with no lights on. Around 12:00 I told the salesperson that I was ready to make the purchase. I didn't hear back, so I contacted the salesperson around 5:00 pm. He said that he would get the person from financing on with me soon. I happened to be out with my family at this time, so I asked how late they would be there. He asked if I wanted to schedule a call for Friday morning at 9:30. I agreed. Well, Friday at 9:30 came & went with no contact. I looked on the website & did not see the car listed, which greatly concerned me. I contacted my salesperson who then told me, after all of this back & forth, that the car had been sold. He blamed me for not closing the deal before. I told him that the car had been in the shop for days until they finally sent the dashboard pic & told me it was ready. Then they sold it to someone else. Now I have a hard credit hit, because they already ran my credit, and I'm out $300 for an inspection on a vehicle I didn't purchase. The only thing that makes me feel good is knowing that the person who bought the car should not have to worry about the tire sensors. Live & learn...the hard way. More
Before purchasing a vehicle from them make sure there are no missing important items such as: Jack, Lug Wrench, Locking Lug Nut Socket, Bed Liner. When you tell them you discovered these items were missing, no missing important items such as: Jack, Lug Wrench, Locking Lug Nut Socket, Bed Liner. When you tell them you discovered these items were missing, the response was "sorry about your luck - you purchased the vehicle As Is. " Also the Anti Theft package that you are forced to purchase, They said a transponder will be added to the vehicle by them - I found it in the pocket behind the passenger's seat - Real Anti-theft protection there. I do not recommend buying from this place. More
My experience with Unlimited Motors in Noblesville, Indiana was unprofessional from start to finish. I was made to feel dishonest the moment I asked to take the car on a test drive with just myself and Indiana was unprofessional from start to finish. I was made to feel dishonest the moment I asked to take the car on a test drive with just myself and my kiddos. They refused and said all test drives must have a salesmen ride along. I’ve actually never had that happen before…. After initially visiting the dealership to look at a BMW SUV, I communicated via text with a salesman, Josh, about a Jeep Grand Cherokee on their lot. Because I live over an hour away, I coordinated visits in advance and provided notice before coming in. On my first scheduled visit to see the Jeep, I arrived to find the dealership attempting to start the vehicle for the first time. The battery was dead and could not be jumped. After waiting approximately 30 minutes, I was told it would need to go to their service department. This strongly suggested the vehicle had not been checked or started in quite some time and resulted in a completely wasted trip. After again having to check in myself, I was told the Jeep was back and “waiting for me.” I made the drive a second time. I was handed the keys and allowed to test drive alone. Immediately upon entering the vehicle, I noticed a large crack across the windshield. After the test drive, I also confirmed the Jeep did not have a trailer hitch receiver, despite being told via text that it did. When I raised this issue, Josh initially denied telling me the Jeep had a hitch. When shown the text message proving otherwise, he responded, “Oh, I guess I just assumed it had one.” Making assumptions about key vehicle features and presenting them as fact is unacceptable. Even more troubling, he then implied that I must have caused the windshield damage during my test drive — an absurd and baseless accusation, given that the crack was present before I ever drove the vehicle. I was told the windshield would be replaced and that I would be notified. After multiple follow-ups on my end, I was later informed that my trade-in would now need to be re-evaluated due to “market changes” and mileage — delays caused entirely by the dealership’s own mishandling of the vehicle. Responsibility for the delays and repair costs was repeatedly and subtly shifted onto me. At that point, it became clear that the dealership was attempting to offset their own repair expenses by changing terms and rewriting the narrative. I have purchased dozens of vehicles over the years, and this was by far the worst dealership experience I’ve ever had. Poor communication, inaccurate information, lack of accountability, and repeated waste of my time made this an easy decision to walk away. I would strongly advise anyone to think twice before doing business with Unlimited Motors or any of their locations. More
