Horrible I bought a vehicle. And dealt with Ramon.. The truck had 1 key that is broken. He said he would order one and it would be in with title. Well it wasn' I bought a vehicle. Financed vehicle nearly 3 months ago, still no plates On 09/30/16 I got a call from this dealership in regards to a credit application I did online. I needed to get out of the vehicle I had because of ong On 09/30/16 I got a call from this dealership in regards to a credit application I did online. I needed to get out of the vehicle I had because of ongoing engine problems. I met with Daiana, my sales person and David who was in charge of financing. They worked out a deal for me to finance a 2010 Honda CR-V. My temp tag was due to expire the end of October, and I never got a phone call, after playing phone tag with them I went into the dealership and was told by David he didn't know what was going on, since it was a Saturday their motor vehicle dept was closed so I would have to return on Monday to get another temp tag. That Monday I got another temp tag, but I also called DMV in Trenton, gave them the VIN # and was told that nothing had been processed. I called VIP again in November and spoke to Vanco, he told me they were waiting for the title. Once again, the second temp tag was due to expire and still no call. I went back to the dealership and asked David what's going on with the title. He made a phone call and told me that the previous owner of the CR-V had a duplicate out of state title, and NJ DMV was waiting for proof that this person paid some sort of fee. However, I contacted the bank that's financing the CR-V they called and spoke with Sharon at VIP, who told them something different. She said that the previous owner lost the title, and VIP is waiting on a cancelled check so they can apply for a duplicate title, but the previous owner is on vacation..right. Here we are half way through December and this is my third temp tag which is due to expire in a couple of weeks. I was already told by DMV that they should not have sold a vehicle without having the title. I've been going back and forth calling the bank, who calls VIP and they do not return any phone calls. I'm to the point where I don't even want this vehicle. I've gotten better service at buy here pay here dealerships and never had an issue with my plates. In addition to the title issue, the low tire pressure light has come on numerous times, and the oil light warning came on a week ago. The truck had 20% oil so clearly no maintenance was done before they sold it. I should have known to stay away when they had to clean the truck before I took it home. Apparently VIP Honda thinks it's ok to just sell any old thing to people with challenged credit. I was better off just letting my old vehicle die, sell it for parts and saved my money to spend elsewhere. I've already notified the Better Business Bureau and the NJ Dept of Consumer Affairs, I will be going to the local news next. More
