Every once and again, there comes a customer that we don't satisfy 100% and apparently this is one such case. If this customer reported a dead battery to us soon after delivery, we would have brought her a new car to use for the day, replaced her battery free of charge, and delivered her car back to her re-cleaned and filled with fuel without charge. Regarding the salesperson attempting conversation, perhaps he tried too hard while waiting for paperwork and vehicle cleaning. Neither do we intentionally misrepresent equipment levels in automobiles we sell. Regarding the amount of time it takes to buy and take delivery of a new automobile, it isn't a five minute process. Perhaps we may have underestimated the time commitment needed to complete the transaction? In all of the years I have worked at Valenti I have never witnessed the company perform as poorly as this consumer describes. So even if you 'hate' auto dealers, you can count on Valenti Audi to do the right thing. If that makes us 'just like any other dealer', then our industry has come a long way.

Thanks for your response. I am happy to provide you with my address if you would like to mail a check to reimburse me for my battery costs as well as the CPO warranty deductible and/or the costs for resetting my keys. Since I was driving out of state the next day, returning was not feasible, and I did not think you would drive eight hours to loan me a car and fix the battery.

Did you notify anyone at the dealership of your dis-satisfaction prior to posting this review? The only reason I am asking is to see if we dropped the ball here once a problem was found. Customer service means a lot to us, and your posting was the first I had heard of the situation. Please email me the bill for the battery and the invoice for re-programming the keys - the CERT deductible perhaps? If the battery died just after delivery as you state, we should have caught that, and I'd like to make the situation right. My sincere apologies for Jim's apparent mis-read of appropriate conversation as well. One request. Would you think it reasonable if, once you are reimbursed for your out-of-pocket expenses that you remove or modify your review? We are going to reimburse you either way, but the implication that we would switch batteries on unsuspecting customers went way beyond criticism of bad service or poor conversational skill. It implied unethical behavior that is so far from removed from the truth that it even surprised us. We're good people, making a living selling good cars to good people. Your thoughts would be appreciated - either way we will do the right thing. And thanks for your candor. We try to improve our processes and people skills constantly. Hi Peter, I did try to call, but I had difficulty getting to speak to anyone. Currently, I only have a copy of the invoice for the deductible to replace the flap motor in the air conditioning vents. I can contact the dealer who reset my keys and get that invoice as well. I don't have a receipt for my battery because they have my information on file (for the warranty), so I didn't have reason to keep it. I'm not sure I could get an invoice, but I could get proof of purchase. If I am fully reimbursed for each of these items, I am willing to take down my review. Thank you

Recalculate your numbers (purchase fees) because they will overcharge you and they may not deliver on their promises. They still owe me money on overcharges and they clearly don't value customer service. More
