One of the worst experiences I’ve ever had with a sales manager. I had been speaking with Gavin Harrison over the phone since last Saturday. We discussed a 2025 Kia Telluride, and he gave me an out-the- manager. I had been speaking with Gavin Harrison over the phone since last Saturday. We discussed a 2025 Kia Telluride, and he gave me an out-the-door price that sounded good, so I made the drive down from Victorville to Fontana. When I got there, he suddenly changed the price, saying the vehicle we talked about was sold and the new price was for a different one. I was understanding about that, even though it wasn’t a great start, and I decided to leave because my kids were tired and I wanted time to think about it. Yesterday, I got back in contact with Gavin. Once again, I clearly let him know — just like I told him and his employee the first time — that I was financing through my own credit union and just wanted straight out-the-door pricing. He gave me a new number, which I really liked. I specifically asked AGAIN if this was the final out-the-door price, and he confirmed that it was. I trusted what he said and drove all the way down from Victorville again, only to find out when I got there that it wasn’t truly out the door — it was only that price if I financed through them because of a rebate. When I called him out on it, he tried to act like it was normal and claimed “all dealerships do this.” That’s simply not true — I had already talked to about 10 different Kia dealerships, and not one of them pulled this kind of trick. Then instead of being professional about the situation, he got into a back-and-forth argument with me. His tone was rude, he was defensive, and he kept claiming he was “straightforward” — but there was absolutely nothing straightforward about how he handled things. He also kept throwing around that it was a “family-owned” dealership like it made a difference. Honestly, based on his attitude, it felt like he might be a son or nephew of someone because he acted like he was untouchable. Completely disrespectful, zero professionalism. At that point, my wife and I got up and left. And honestly, thank God we did — because we immediately went to Covina Kia, and the difference was night and day. I asked them for an out-the-door price, and without games or hidden rebates, they gave me a straightforward number — exactly how it should be. Their salesman, Randy, was awesome: honest, helpful, not pushy at all, and actually worked with me to get the deal I wanted. We bought the car that same day. For fairness, I want to mention that at Valley Kia I also worked with a salesman named Josh who was cool and respectful. My only real issue was with Gavin, and based on what I’ve heard from multiple other Kia dealerships, Valley Kia as a whole has a reputation for doing exactly what happened to me: luring customers in with fake numbers and changing prices once you show up. I can’t say if every salesperson there is like that — but I can 100% say Gavin is, and based on my experience, I would never recommend him to anyone. More
The service department for Kia is terrible. I have to go in to make an appointment because when I call I always get hung up on. I was told by the assistant manager Thomas Arguelles to bring m I have to go in to make an appointment because when I call I always get hung up on. I was told by the assistant manager Thomas Arguelles to bring my car in for a diagnostic test, because my air conditioning in the car is not working. He blows out cold air but does not push it out. The assistant manager, Thomas, let me know that some Kia’s have a fuse in the car that burns and causes the air conditioning to not work properly. He told me to bring it in on Tuesday @ 9am, and he will see if the warranty will cover this issue that some Kia K5 seem to be having. I speak to Raul Paris and he tells me that he can’t do anything for me because the assistant manager, Thomas, is not there and he has other cars to service. He also told me that he does not think I’m lying which rubbed me the wrong way. I took the day off of work to bring the car in and made so many arrangements to have another car while my car was being tested and fixed. Raul Paris is the worst service advisor, and every time I am helped by him I get dismissed. I brought my car in for the A/C unit prior and Raul Paris helped me and said it would take 7 days, and would not be covered under warranty. When I came back today Raul Paris was questioning me about the fuse that Thomas, the assistant manager, was telling me about. He was condescending and asking me how I knew it was the fuse. I let him know that Thomas, told me, and I was still dismissed. Raul Paris should not work in a place of service by belittling women. Try another service or get serviced by anyone other than Raul Paris. More

Valley Kia of Fontana was the only Kia dealership that didn't have a six plus month wait an appointment for recalls. I took my 2016 Optima in for 3 recalls and an oil consumption test due to the car burni didn't have a six plus month wait an appointment for recalls. I took my 2016 Optima in for 3 recalls and an oil consumption test due to the car burning oil (known problem and class action lawsuit against Kia). I waited 3 hours for them to do an oil change (oil consumption test), KDSS recall, put two crooked security stickers on my windows, and trunk latch. Upon paying for the oil change, I was told by the service representative that I would need to provide a receipt for every single oil change if I wanted Kia to begin any warranty claim for the oil consumption (new engine) and I had to bring the car back in at exactly 1000 miles to check the oil, however, if I couldn't find all the receipts to not bother because Kia wouldn't honor the 100k mile warranty or the lifetime warranty (class action lawsuit against Kia). Kia recommends that you change your oil at 7,500 miles, and I changed my oil between 3,500 to 4000 miles religiously. I misplaced a few of the receipts, and I have attempted to go to the shops that did the oil changes, but a few shops have closed or weren't able to locate a receipt. If I had known that my engine was going to take a crap way before my 10 year 100000 mile warranty, I would have placed them in a vault for safe keeping. Either way, Kia makes crap cars that have had more recalls and class action lawsuit losses that anyone can count. They don't stand behind their cars, warranty, or class action loss requirements. Valley Kia gives you the runaround and isn't up front about anything. They even tell you that if Kia does decided to honor the warranty, your car will be sitting at their dealership from 2 plus months because the replacement bottom ends (engine) are on back order because they are needing to be replaced faster than they can be produced. Oh, icing on the cake. The salesman walked up to a few of us who were waiting for our junk cars and offered us new cars with no dealer markup. Laughed my xxx off. I WILL NEVER OWN ANOTHER KIA, AND I WILL MAKE SURE NOBODY I KNOW, INCLUDING PEOPLE I DISLIKE WILL NEVER OWN A KIA. NO MATTER HOW GOOD THE DEAL IS OR THE WARRANTY THAT KIA OFFERS, RUN!!! YOU WILL GET SCREWED. Update. Valley Kia glued my oil cap and dispstick shut with some thick glue. How the F am I supposed to check/change my oil? If my car was burning oil and I'm trying to prove that to you, why would I add oil??? I am seeking an attorney Monday morning for the permanent damages they caused and the inability to now check, change, or add oil. More
Where do I begin. Took our 2023 Sportage to Valley Kia of Fontana for our maintenance. Our car at the time had only had 6,000 miles. after our oil change was completed Took our 2023 Sportage to Valley Kia of Fontana for our maintenance. Our car at the time had only had 6,000 miles. after our oil change was completed, we noticed our Sportage was leaking oil. We called Valley Kia of Fontana to schedule which at the time would be warranty work. After speaking to the service advisors they advised us that it wouldn't be until end of Nov 2023 to get us in. As I asked to please give us an earlier opening they said they could not and referred us to Kia Corporate's number. As advised by Valley Kia of Fontana I proceeded with doing just that. Kia corporate found a dealer that was willing to squeeze us in and have a look at our car. Finds out that the technician at Valley Kia of Fontana installed a faulty oil filter canister and or pinched the gasket on the oil filter canister. Unfortunately, the Kia dealer that was able to squeeze us in had to charge a diag fee. We were instructed to get back with Valley Kia of Fontana for reimbursement and they refuse to own up to the mistake and had the audacity to tell me that I didn't give them the opportunity, to fix it but keep in mind as stated above, they were the ones that gave me Kia's corporate's number. One thing I would like to add is that I called Mike Hangca for a week and left voicemails for a call back and have yet to get one back. Valley Kia of Fontana don't bother with your comment of "We are sorry to hear about this! Please feel free to contact us or stop by if you'd like to discuss it further" as I already called multiple times and Mike can't even call back and Andrew Rusich already stated he would not help with the fees I had to pay and wanted to wash this out with a free oil change. Avoid these guys at all costs. They lie about everything, steal personal information, and bait and switch on you. There are plenty of better dealerships in the area.
