On 10-03-2025, I drive two hours to see and potentially buy a truck from the used car lot of Van Chevrolet Buick GMC . Prior to my arrival I confirmed with the sales person that the truck was at the lot, h buy a truck from the used car lot of Van Chevrolet Buick GMC . Prior to my arrival I confirmed with the sales person that the truck was at the lot, he said yes and stated he washed the truck and it would be parked out front. When I arrived I was met by the salesman and then passed onto another salesman and into his office without seeing the truck. While in the office and without seeing the truck I was told the truck was in the shop because it was "throwing codes." and the truck was not available to purchase. I was then offered other trucks to see. I was then told the truck I actually came to see was sold just before I arrived, even though the salesman said he just washed it and parked it out front.. This was a total scam by the dealership and when I asked for a manager I was told none were available. I did speak with another salesman who apparently did not care. Use caution when dealing with Van Chevrolet, Shady business. More

On my recent visit, I presented my 2019 Ford Ranger (VIN: 1FTER4EH4KLB08978) for persistent hard shifting in the transmission, an issue that should be addressed under my Mechanical Protection Plan (MPP). I was told the vehicle must be left for three days just to perform a diagnosis and that no loaner or transportation assistance would be provided. I rely on my vehicle daily, and this approach effectively denies me service despite my coverage. I purchased extended protection through your dealership with the expectation that warranty concerns would be handled promptly and fairly. I’m requesting the following: 1. Timely diagnosis and repair of the transmission concern under my MPP coverage. 2. Loaner or rental assistance during diagnosis/repair, or a reasonable same-day diagnostic appointment. 3. Written clarification of your dealership’s policies for warranty repairs and transportation assistance. Please provide a resolution within four (4) calendar days of this message. If unresolved, I will escalate to: • Van Chevrolet Ownership/Customer Relations • BBB (Auto complaints) • Arizona Attorney General – Consumer Protection • MPP/Administrator for assistance with claim handling and authorized facilities Thank you for your prompt attention. I look forward to a written response confirming next steps and a diagnostic appointment that accommodates transportation needs.
