When I desperately needed a new car Eric was the most helpful salesman I've ever dealt with. I despise buying cars, and always dread it, but knowing I was going into meet Eric, solved all fears. I had a unique situation. My Suburban with over 100K miles was still in great shape but my wife and I talked about trading for a new Tahoe. I also had a low milage Corvette that was seldom used. I wish I could give this dealership 0 STARS. Have been trying to expand my mobile service business and upon trying to finance a new commercial vehicle, I found the banks are being VERY difficult to deal w trying to expand my mobile service business and upon trying to finance a new commercial vehicle, I found the banks are being VERY difficult to deal with. I called Mitch Heims over at their Buick/GMC side and explained my financial and credit situation. He told me the "other dealers" couldn't get me financed because they "lack the sales volume" that Van Chevrolet/Buick/GMC has and "Van Chevy WILL get you financing, no matter what". They worked with me on price but played around with "options" and "rebates" to where even being well prepared, was confusing at best. They added in they could put in "FACTORY KEYLESS ENTRY" so it would help me with my unique needs. Was reassured in finance AGAIN we were approved at a decent rate and wrote a check for the down payment (about 10% or so). Got a call the next morning saying everything is ok and vehicle should be ready to pick up. Got dropped off and given the keys with the "key fobs" for the keyless entry. WAS NOT FACTORY BUT A $300 AFTERMARKET SYSTEM I WAS CHARGED $1195 for HIDDEN INTO THE VEHICLE PRICE (NOT A KOSHER DEAL). So I told them to take it out and they refused. Then went as far as to tell me I WASN'T YET APPROVED and I should just take the van home anyways. I've learned NEVER EVER EVER to drive away until COMPLETELY FUNDED. Basically to sum up this LONG and TROUBLESOME effort, we had to get GM Chuck Mullins, Justin Seratta, Brett Glass, and Danny (sales mgr) to try to resolve our efforts. HOURS OF WASTED TIME, HORRIBLE DISAPPOINTING SERVICE AND NOW I have too many inquiries to get appoved ANYWHERE... P.S. NEVER OFFERED ME ANY WATER, WHAT DEALER DOES THAT??? More

I stopped in to see what this dealer could do for me, and met Eric Francisco. I eventully bought a Chevy LTZ pickup. Eric was very friendly and went out of his way to make sure that I was satisfied with every aspect of the transaction. I did have a problem with vibration from tires on the truck that I bought, but Eric made sure that the truck was vibration free and that I was completly satified. I would recomend Eric as a salesman to anyone that went to Van Chevrolet. More
Typically car buying experiences are not at the top of my fun things to do list. My husband were just looking at cars and ended up driving one off the showroom floor. Richard Glassman, Eric Francisco and C fun things to do list. My husband were just looking at cars and ended up driving one off the showroom floor. Richard Glassman, Eric Francisco and Cody Jokerst made the experience a good one. I would definitely recommend these employees and Van Chevrolet to anyone looking for a new or used vehicle. More
We recently purchased a 2011 Chevy Equinox. We had a great experience with everyone that we came into contact with. My car buying adventure was better then expected. During my driving years I had many opportunities to buy cars. My last experience in 2010 was the worst experience that no one should endure but 2012 is off my driving years I had many opportunities to buy cars. My last experience in 2010 was the worst experience that no one should endure but 2012 is off to a great start. I received a phone call from Eric Francisco ( Van Chevrolet Scottsdale Arizona) apparently my review of the last dealership caused a stir and he was compelled to give me a call and talk with me regarding that nightmare. By the end of the call I was on my way to the dealership to meet with Eric keeping in mind I probably will not buy a car today. So I loaded up my boyfriend and off we went to a Chevy dealership. After the long drive we arrived at our destination surprisingly it was not so bad. Many sales people were out side and greeted us with smiles and very willing to inform Eric I had arrived for my appointment. As we waited in the front we looked at some of the cars in the showroom (knowing full well I could not even afford to look at the price tag on them) Eric came to the showroom and was very friendly I was shocked after my last car buying, he escorted us to his cube and sat down and discus my car situation. Before we even looked at cars (which was a good thing because I would hate to waste my time and his) since I had not owned a Chevy since 2001 I was unfamiliar with the current products and not sure what I would like let alone buy. After a little time of looking at my financial situation and then looking for a new ride I decided if things worked I would buy the new Malibu. The finance area was painless for the first time in years this part has always been dreaded but I was shocked at how simple this process was for me because I have less then perfect credit. Life happens and you miss a payment here or there and it looks bad on your credit. This went great and the papers were signed. I took possession of my new car then next morning (since I have bought it in the evening hours I was asked to pick it up in the morning so I could bring in my down payment). Now the hard part waiting for a new car ? Saturday morning we arrived a little early for my 10 AM appointment but once again, we were greeted with smiles. Eric came trotting out with Keys in hand. All my paperwork was in order and finance was happy and I was too. The GM of Van came out to greet me which I found to be a great surprise most GM’s do not meet the customers. Eric gave me the keys and we were off. My boyfriend and I got in the car and Eric jumped in the back seat. He spent 30 min showing me how use the on star, the phone system, and stereo. Hey my car has its own phone number and starts remotely. We drove off the lot in my new ride and I could not have been happier. Thank you Eric for making my car buying adventure painless and pleasant think my next car will be from Van More
I would recommend this dealership if you want to have a bad day. The expertise of the dealership is the Bait and Switch, of which I am sure Mike Nations is the instructor. I was in the market for an Escala bad day. The expertise of the dealership is the Bait and Switch, of which I am sure Mike Nations is the instructor. I was in the market for an Escalade and found the one I wanted at Van Chevrolet. I called the dealership the day before going there to confirm the vehicle was still there. I talked with Anthony and he said it was still there. I told him I would pay cash and told him I would be at the dealership in the morning. I then called the next day to confirm that the Escalade was still available. I talked with Mike Nations and he said it was and that Anthony would take care of me. My wife and I then went to the dealership. What happened from there was the infamous BAIT AND SWITCH routine. We walked in the door of the dealership and was met by Mike Nations. We told him who we were and he told my wife and I that the Escalade had been sold the day before, but he could get us into one just like it. In the next breath and few moments Mike tried to explain why we should one of 3 Denali's he had on the lot. I told him I didn't want a Denali. He finally found an Escalade in Texas....on the internet...which he wanted us to purchase....sight unseen. It wouldn't be there for two weeks. Needless to say my wife and I left the dealership in disgust, especially in light of the unsavory tactics. We then went to the Benz and Beemer dealership and bought my car....and you know....It was a great experience, even though I went above what I had orginally allocated, but it was because of the total Good experience of the Benz and Beemer Dealership.. I had a decent car buying experience. Eric and Steve were very professional and courteous in handling my deal and working within my comfort levels. The only unpleasantness I experienced was working with the very professional and courteous in handling my deal and working within my comfort levels. The only unpleasantness I experienced was working with the finance department i.e. Roman and boss in closing the deal. They were very aggressive in having me buy a service contract and would not take no for an answer. I felt highly pressured into making that addition to my payment and really felt that they would not close the deal without me agreeing to the upsell. While I did end up agreeing to the contract, in hindsight I have to say that my wishes were not honored. While I would recommend this dealership, it is with caution as the finance people are not as friendly or courteous as the sales staff. If you were to get Roman as a finance person, I highly recommend to pass him up for the next person. More
