"That's what you get when you buy a car sight unseen. " We purchased a used vehicle about a month ago, trusting the good reviews, and had it delivered to our home in Michigan. We noticed right away that the car had not been detailed as they said it would be. In fact, it was filthy inside with dirt on the floors, in the doors, etc. But, after a day or so we noticed some damaged and missing items (including rear seat headrests!) but our texts to our sales rep (Joe) went unanswered. After finally getting through, VanHorn offered to send us the headrests. We are thankful for that and the reason for the second star. They would not, however, agree to repair the cracked trim piece, the loose light, or the other things not disclosed to us before purchase. All things considered, these are pretty minor things to offer to repair to keep good faith with customers. And, if we had done business in person, we likely could have negotiated for those repairs before purchase. What's most shocking is what we were told: "that's what you get when you buy a car sight unseen." So, if you are buying from VanHorn and having a car shipped, keep these words in mind. I will gladly amend my review if the dealership tries again to make things right. More
