Hello Laurie, sorry about the issues with the radio system in your car. Our salesmen are trained on the warranty explanations, including all exclusions and this warranty information is passed onto all customers at time of delivery and also included in a hard copy form. On the matter of radios, all manufactures including Hyundai cover the radio components for a period of 3 years or 36,000 miles. The news you were given when you had your system diagnosed was the correct news because over the past 22 months you totaled over 42,000 miles on your car, and this put the vehicle over the maximum mileage allotment of 36,000 miles. Since then there have been several conversation with our company and sounds like we are able to get some coverage under a goodwill program. This is great news and means we will be able to get your radio repaired. We thank you for you patients and are happy to serve you with this repair and any other concerns during your ownership. On 11/15/2013 at 9:16am customer made an oil change & tire rotation appointment with no mention of specific oil to be used. Prior customer history shows one oil change with Mobil 1 oil all other oil changes were customer supplied oil. As for Hyundai’s p15 campaign there are specific guide lines to follow requiring the vehicle owner to have their vehicle mileage verified by any Hyundai dealer, then the vehicle owner is to apply on line for their reimbursement. Vehicle maintenance guide lines are set by each vehicle the manufacture requiring services to be performed at specific time/mileage intervals or fluid conditions to keep every customers vehicle in like new operating condition.
