We found a vehicle on carsforsale.com that was located at this dealership. Called them and put $100 to hold the vehicle for us. Salesmen transferred us to a manager to discuss a tràde in price. He gave me a ball park range and i asked if the 17,000 on the used ford edge was firm because we didn't want to waste our time making the 1 hour 45 min drive. He assured me that they would be more than willing to come down and an asking price is just a starting point. Two days later we made the 1 hr 45 min drive down. We started answering question after question at the salesmens desk which ranged from the typical trade in vehicle questions to what our hobies were. He kept asking if we had our car sprayed with a paint protector because if we did it would be an extra $500 trade in value. (A set up for a future upsell if we bought the Edge) They seemed way more interested in how we would be paying and asked us 4 seperate occasions than specifics about either vehicle. Then came the carfax. He didn't know anything about the vehicle besides what was on the sheet. He repeatedly pointed out the 1 owner. It said rental by the previous owner. He assured us that ment that it was a lease. We googled it on our phones and it was in fact a rental vehicle. Once we brought it up again, he suddenly knew it was a rental vehicle as well. After we told them we would make an offer but a low one he showed us that they were willing to give us less than half for our trade in than we got in our ball park over the phone. We countered with the original ball park trade in number along with 2,000 off their used price. The manager Scott I believe came over and showed us prices of other edges and assured us it was a good price and they wouldn't budge. ( glad we made the 1 hr 45min drive!!) Scott then was rude and cocky telling us he would buy a vehicle from an auction for us. We told him we would find our own he said " oo so you know someone with connections at auction??" Dishonest, even shady are both words to discribe this dealership. This if the first review I've ever written and their terrible service prompted me to do so. More
Every time I call to make an appointment, I'm always able to get my vehicle in when it fits my schedule. Today, Brian Siegert, took care of me in the service department. He was very friendly when I arrived and he keeps me up to date as to what is needed to be done on my vehicle for my warranty. While my vehicle was being serviced, I waited in the lounge and enjoyed a freshly brewed cup of coffee. There I caught up on some reading. When my vehicle was finished, Brian took the time to explain what was done and if I needed anything else in the near future. Finally, Donna Tasche took care of me to pay my bill. She is always very friendly and is willing to chat while I write out my check. Overall, I would say that my experience at Van Horn Hyundai was a pleasant one. More
We made the drive from Fond Du Lac and were not disappointed! We had read many positive reviews of the dealership online, and I must say they were all true. We had a specific budget in mind, and he helped us meet that budget, and made us feel comfortable with our decision. We weren't pushed or rushed into making the deal happen, and he answered all of our questions patiently and thoroughly. As a younger couple, we found that some dealers in our area tended to treat us as kids who didn't know anything. Jim and the whole team at Van Horn really treated us with respect, which was quite refreshing. We love the car, and had a great experience buying it! Thanks Jim! More

From the minute we walked in the door, we were greeted with very friendly salesmen. There was never any pressure to buy anything. They gave us options and it was our choice. Like I said, they was no pressure and they made us feel very comfortable. We will definitely be purchasing our vehicles from here for years to come and we will for sure send our family and friends there also. We would like to thank everyone that helped us. Had a brokken oil control valve. Was covered under warranty and had it fixed by lunch time. I did not have an appointment but they got me in and on the road very quickly.
