This is our 3rd vehicle from Van Horn and they come highly recommended. 2nd Car I’ve bought from Alan Brandt Jr he is awesome to work with. The service and free oil changes are top notch. On May 30, 2024 we had two recalls and a tuneup done on our car. When we arrived to get the car up we were told that I couldn’t pay with a check. I replied that it would be nice to be informed before we c our car. When we arrived to get the car up we were told that I couldn’t pay with a check. I replied that it would be nice to be informed before we came to pick up the car. He replied that there was sign on his desk. There were emails to make the appointment and phone calls to tell us it was finished. That is when this information could be passed along. Luckily we had a charge card along and when we paid nearly $400 for the tuneup which we had no dispute over paying he then said “unless you want to pay for the recalls too”. I’m not sure why he was so rude because we weren’t confrontational in the least but I hope I never need to service a car here again. More
