I came in to find a used truck after much searching in a multitude of avenues available. The first trip to Vandevere was wonderful. Upon our return to pick up the truck everything ran very efficently. They even catered to my son and kept him happy with treats and balloons. I will definately be back to get our next vehicle. Marcus is very helpful and incredibly polite. He knew more then just the sales aspect, he was familiar with credit issues, mechanics on the truck, and is really just a nice guy to work with. How many times do you get a salesman you can actually talk to instead of being talked at! Marcus is an asset to the vandevere team and i wish him continued success and happiness. My husband and I went to VanDevere to look for a new vehicle. We were greeted right away by Marcus Floyd as soon as we walked in the door.We told him what vehicles we were intrested in and right away he vehicle. I was ready to pull the triger on a new car deal with a competitor when I was turned on to an old friend, Mr. D. Obendorf. Denny and I have several mutual friends and when the conversation turned to buying competitor when I was turned on to an old friend, Mr. D. Obendorf. Denny and I have several mutual friends and when the conversation turned to buying a new car, Denny's good name surfaced. I called Denny and with in about 10 minuets or less he knew he could pull a deal together for me better than I had on the table. With in 5 days of our first conversation Denny and Van Devere Chevrolet had searched, found and brought to Akron, Ohio from Lansing, Michigan the exact car I was wanting. The negotiations were seamless, professional and very stress free. My wife and I saw the car on a Monday evening and did some preliminary paper work. Denny and his support staff so belived in me that they gave the BEST trade in price site unseen for my trade vehicle. It was a win -win for both sides as our credit score at 860 spoke volumes for our willingness and capabilities to close the deal. The delivery was a very pleasant experiance as we met at our appointed time and the paper work, conversation and delivery was complete in less than an hour. A sales person selling to a sales person ---we did have time for a few laughs. This was the best I was ever treated as a customer in and on a car lot. I did and will continue to recommend Van Devere and Denny Obendorf to all of my friends, business customers and FAMILY.
