My alternator went out on my 2019 suburban I love about 25 miles Southwest of Fort Worth and could Not Find a local dealership that could even look at within a week. Most were 2 weeks out. I was recommen 25 miles Southwest of Fort Worth and could Not Find a local dealership that could even look at within a week. Most were 2 weeks out. I was recommended to vandergriff by one of these locations. I called and spoke to Cody Kwiatkowski the team service manager. He told me to have it brought to him abs he would have it looks abt by Tuesday. This was a noon on a Friday so I still had to arrange towing and all. He called me on Tuesday to tell me it was indeed the water pump and all was under my warranty. He repaired it on Wednesday and due to my own schedule we picked it up on Thursday. What an amazing experience! More
DO NOT purchase from Vandergriff Chevrolet! This nightmare began 9/21/21 when I decided to drive to Arlington with plans to purchase a specific car. I spoke to Emily, my salesperson on the way there nightmare began 9/21/21 when I decided to drive to Arlington with plans to purchase a specific car. I spoke to Emily, my salesperson on the way there to make sure the car was still available. I was told then that it was signed out and she'd call me back. Come to find out it was available and signed out in the service dept for a tire pressure warning light and I was told may possibly need a new tire but wasn't sure yet. She said it should be good for me to test drive once I got there and they would get it corrected before I bought if that was the case. Once I arrived, I was told air had been added and the problem had been resolved. I took it for a test drive, maybe a 5 minute trip to make a big circle and come back. I noted at that time that the car didn't show tire pressures on any tire. I was told by Emily when I inquired that not all cars have it and this one must not. I then had a horrible experience with Eddie, used car director, with the details of the deal. The online sales price was $32,298 and they came back adding $1500 to the price. He continued to argue that it was for service on it to get it ready for sale and refused to come off of the price. Then tried to give me $1500-2000 less for my car than I had researched it was worth on multiple sites for trade. That finally was increased some and I was told to "help me out" as if he was doing me a favor. I should've walked out then and purchased elsewhere, but I wanted this car and had driven 2.5 hours after working all night to get it so I didn't. Once I had completed the purchase, I made it all but about 10-15 minutes down the road when the TPMS warning light came back on. I found an exit and pulled off. I immediately called Emily and she didn't know what to say other than maybe it was covered under warranty and to keep her updated. I told her I was trying to find somewhere to check pressures because the tires weren't visibly low. I made it to a tire store where they said all tires were at 40psi except the driver front at 38psi. Recommended for the car is 36psi on all. He corrected them and said the light should automatically reset and hopefully that was the cause for the warning. The light stayed on and I let her know. I was then told that she had talked to her manager, Jorge, and he said they wouldn't honor it if it wasn't a safety issue. I asked to speak with him. 3 days later he called me and said the most they might do is cover the diagnostic fee from my local Kia dealer I'd scheduled an appt with and threw in the reminder I had signed the form stating I was buying the car as is at purchase. I pointed out that even though that was the case, I was assured prior to signing that the problem had been corrected which obviously was not the case and that somehow it had been reset or hidden long enough for the sale. I expressed that it was very wrong for them not to honor a problem they assured me was fixed when obviously it had not been. The soonest appt at local Kia dealer was a week later on 9/29. Upon that appt, not only did they find that there were NO sensors on any wheel but that there was an area of damage in the driver front area of the car that they missed or ignored. I failed to notice it. So basically, that $1500 fee to service the car and make sure it was in superb condition for sale I was insured I had to pay was a bunch of crap! And none of it is covered under the warranty I quickly found out. Almost a $1000 estimate to fix the TPMS issue with parts and labor. I contacted Jorge, the manager Emily had referred me to, by phone again and I forwarded pics of estimate and my payment to him via the email he provided. I was told he would get back to me. Late the next day after not hearing back, I called and left a message with no answer. Then on 10/1, I emailed him again asking for a response. Neither call nor email have been returned as of today 10/4/21. BEWARE! Apparently they only care about selling a car and ripping you off as they do it.. No one should spend this much on a vehicle and immediately have to pay another $1k out of pocket because the dealership covered up a problem that they knew was preexisting long enough to sell it and then refuse to make good of it. That's nothing short of fraudulent. Any reputable dealership would honor this and fix it! PERIOD! More

Working with Madi Green was a great experience. She spent time to find something that exactly fit my needs and my budget, which ended up being a brand new car which I never dreamt I would be getting. spent time to find something that exactly fit my needs and my budget, which ended up being a brand new car which I never dreamt I would be getting. No pressure and the sale was handled very professional. I understand Jorge put some time in making the finance part of it work but was not there the day I came in to pick it up. Austin handled the finance part in a very professional matter the day I did pick the car up. Thanks to manager, Reggie, for his assistance in making this deal happen, too. Everyone I worked with was very helpful and I appreciated their assistance. More
