Tarneshia Rembert initially came into the dealership and worked with Justin Pack on September 18, 2014. She had $10,000 in negative equity, and was looking at an Impala LTZ. She wanted her payment to be more than $450/mo. When you do the math on these requirements it cannot be done so I went in and spoke to Ms. Rembert, she immediately displayed ill will and treated me as such. I inquired about money down to assist in getting closer to monthly payment, but she would not make any type of commitment. Approximately 3 months later on December 29, 2014, Ms. Rembert returned to the dealership, and I went over and said hello since I recognized the deal from a few months back. She informed us that she qualified for GM Employee pricing. She still insisted on the $450/mo payment, and we were at $744/mo with $2500 down. She made a comment that she knew that we could get to her payment because she knew that we purchased Impalas for $10,000. Keep in mind that invoice from GM verifiable was approximately $31,000. Statement of fact: If she felt we were not treating her fairly why is she coming back over and over. Statement of fact: She mentioned that other dealers were giving her the same numbers. Again 3 days later on January 1, 2015, Ms. Rembert returned to the dealership attempting to get to her $450 payment. (Third visit to us even though she states we were not treating her fairly) She stated that on her previous visit, she had switched to an Impala that had 8,000 miles on it. I decided to start everything fresh since there had been so many deals worked with this customer. I went $1000 below GM Employee pricing and noticed the customer qualified for a $1000 GM Employee Bonus Cash Rebate. This changed the total amount of rebates from $3250 to $4250. Even after doing this, we were at $676/mo with $2500 down. Every attempt was made to work a deal with the customer, but there was no way to get to her desired payment of $450/mo. Regardless to what we attempted to do to get her a better deal and get closer to payment, the customer displayed dissatisfaction with everyone she encountered. I ask you, if we cannot make a deal with customers due to unrealistic goals from the customer are we really treating her badly. We have a great Customer Satisfaction score with GM and have been doing business for over 79 years here in Arlington with a BBB score of A+.

Thank you for a great explanation of what really occurred Taneshia. I am about to meet with the group and get a few things changed on our process. If in the future you need anything at all please come see me. These Dealer Rater reviews go hard against the sales folks so if you can find it in your heart to take it down Bernard would jump for joy. He is fairly new with us and doing well. Thanks again, Bob

Corporate dealership. Not family owned. Waited for hours over 2 days. Drive up the road to Bruce Lowrie Chevrolet and brought the same truck in 1 hour!!!!! They dealer traded!! This dealership is owned by Mr. Rick Cantalini. We are not able to identify this customer in order to review the comments as to his allegations. It is an everyday event when customers have bad credit waiting for approval. Once approval is given with a stipulation such as needs 2500 down they often go to other dealers and come up with the money down and get and take delivery in just hours. It may have been a situation where we were trading form another dealer like Bruce Lowrie and that dealer took to much time to let us know if in fact they would trade. Either way I'm not sure why this customer only left so little information as to the complaint. Please provide me more information.

Poor service. Point blank, I sat for two days. Had the down payment. The truck was in stock, I asked for a lease. Found out later they never even ran my credit!!! Went to Bruce Lowrie, they had TIME to actually wait on me. The next day I drove out with the SAME truck I test drove at Vandergriff.....go figure

We don't trade with Bruce Lowrie usually because they as so close and a competitor but if I could Identify you I sure well post the notes and understand better what nay have happened. Your response today is virtually the same as the first response. Bob Clark

This massage was posted on the Dealer Rater website with the "respond privately" box checked. Mr Sims, now that I have your name and record I see all the notes. Reading these notes makes me think we should go no farther with this unnecessary back and forth dialog. For the record I just hung up from talking with you on 1/5/2015 at 5:55 pm and you stated you have no problem with me posting what we we have on file. This call was recorded. We want no ill will with any customer so I will first file a request with Dealer Rater to see if they will take down the post before going public. If they do, we will go no further. The file we have states that you brought in an ad form Michigan for a 100 dollar lease. It also said that you had a beacon score of 513 trying to lease a vehicle for your girlfriend Nadia Meggs with a credit score of 455. Looking at the DMV record you are the only one registered on the title purchased at the dealer stated. In the state of TEXAS this could be looked at as a straw purchase. What this means is one person purchasing or leasing a vehicle for the use of another that cannot qualify. This is credit fraud. We will not allow a straw purchase in this dealership and I would think that the leasing company would not like it if they knew about it also. We are not saying this was your intention only that we had to stop the negotiation at that point. You may know about straw purchases working for Financial Motors for 21 years in Michigan or here in Texas. This was also a red flag for us because you say you been with Financial Motors for 21 years while living here with a Michigan drivers license. We wish no ill will upon anyone but will not hesitate in protecting our reputation by posting all that we feel came into play when you were here.
