Charles Maund VW added $3,000 to the price of my car through gap coverage and a warranty WITHOUT TELLING ME!!! Unfortunately one star is the only choice or else I would have given negative stars! Buying from a dealer is NEVER a good choice. Read Remar Sutton's book "Don't Get Taken Every Time." A former career car salesman, he tells the nasty truth about how dealers like Charles Maund VW lie and cheat to get as much money out of your wallet as possible. I made the STUPID decision to use a dealer. NEVER AGAIN! You have no idea how much Charles Maund VW is taking from you! They will ALWAYS try their hardest to drain your hard-earned bank account as much as possible. If they cannot, they will not make a sale. Again, if you make the bad decision to use Charles Maund VW, go over the contract with a fine tooth comb. You will likely see MANY added, expensive things in there like gap coverage and warranties. REFUSE the gap coverage! It's EXTREMELY expensive at a dealer and can be bought from an insurance agent for a fraction of what Charles Maund VW charges! Why do you think they're so highly rated? It's because they are professionals at making the most money off of you as possible! Those smiles, handshakes, friendliness? It's all a game...the game of winning lots and lots of money...YOUR'S! Great Atlas and GREAT sales experience! I spent several months considering a new car for my family of five. After initially not knowing what I wanted and doing quite a bit of research and te I spent several months considering a new car for my family of five. After initially not knowing what I wanted and doing quite a bit of research and test driving, I was able to narrow it down to the VW Atlas. In spite of knowing what I now wanted, it was also important to me to get the specific trim and package details I wanted and at a price that was good for my family's budget. Fortunately, I began working with Juan Amaro in the early stages of my search. He was immensely patient with me as a considered multiple car options and allowed me to test drive numerous times, including a time with my full family (with 3 children 5 and under). He walked me through the trim packages and helped me find the car I wanted. When they did not have the exact configuration in stock, he worked with his amazing sales manager, Pedro Gallardo, to find one for me. I spent a couple of months determining if and when I was ready to purchase the car, and during that time I never felt any pressure to buy or to make a decision I wasn't ready for. Simultaneously, when I was ready to finally commit to making a deal, Juan worked closely with Pedro to get me a very good deal and get the car I wanted within just two days. He maintained excellent communication with me, provided me with direct information on price and purchase details, and never made me feel as though I had to make a decision I wasn't happy with. The entire negotiation process felt extremely above-board, and I was able to walk away with a car I love while feeling like I made an excellent deal. Beyond that, I felt really pleased with the car purchasing experience. It had none of the sales-pressure, icky-feeling that often comes with this process. To the contrary, Juan went out of his way to be available before and after hours and to champion all of my requests. I could not speak more highly of Juan or of Pedro in this process. After buying other cars and going to another VW dealer to negotiate, I can absolutely say this was the best sales experience I have ever had. I am grateful for my experience and would recommend Charles Maund VW, and Juan Amaro without any hesitation. If you are even considering a VW, please go here and make sure to ask for Juan. More

I highly recommend visiting Charles Maund when you’re in the market for a new car. From the greeting to the closing and paperwork, it was an excellent experience where I felt well taken care of and did not experience the stereotypical high pressure car sales at all! I dropped my car off a couple days later for window tinting and I was given a loner and treated like royalty from the entire staff! More

Normally, buying a car kinda sucks, as the sales people can be pushy and a little dodgy, the typical used car salesman; however, Joy Baello put that stereotype to rest, as she was fantastic! Very personable, professional and friendly. Extremely knowledgeable, and above all NOT PUSHY. She explained everything, answered my questions, and gave me all the options. 10/10 would recommend Charles Maund, and 11/10 would recommend Joy. Above and beyond, well done! More
