Dropped my car off for some repairs.Phillip kept in contact with me the whole time and was very mindful of the budget I was on. He explained that the car had other problems, but wasn't pushy in the least. When I picked up the car he went over everything with me, showing me the other problems and explaining again what all they had to do, what I needed to get done soon, and what wasn't as imperative. Their little receipt thingy also comes with the info, which is awesome if you're like me and forget things within five seconds. Today, I got a follow up call from someone at the dealership, checking in to make sure that everything was working the way it should be. I will definitely be coming back here in a few weeks to get some of the other problems this money pit that I drive has. More

Bad service = thousands of dollars out of pocket In a regular 60,000 mile maintenance for my vehicle, the fuel filter is supposed to be replaced. Maund says they did, however a few months later my system was found to have a lot of rust in it. There is no way they performed the service as required, or they would have noticed the rust. Dealership is claiming they did replace the filter, but two independent shops have said there is no way. Worst service ever. Cost me thousands of dollars. More
No integrity or true care for the repeat customer. One star for the SALES dept. They sold me a project car when I wasn't looking for a project car. This 2010 Golf TDI "Clean" Diesel was my purchase and One star for the SALES dept. They sold me a project car when I wasn't looking for a project car. This 2010 Golf TDI "Clean" Diesel was my purchase and they really did a number on me. It's my fault for letting it happen. I had a 2012 R-Line CC (and before that, a 2006 Passat) I wanted to trade in for it because the CC was really very thirsty and not very green. The amount of money you pay for a CC, you'd think it would hold some value. THEY DON"T, DON'T BUY ONE. In less than 2 years it went from $39k to $18 at trade in. And Maund wanted $16k for this heavily used Golf with near 58K miles because it was a "clean" diesel. I thought that was outrageous but I was tired of putting premium in the CC weekly. I had to find some way to eek some of the CC's equity back so I went to another dealer, traded the CC in for a better price on a newer car/hybrid that was cool but not for me, then went back and got a better trade in deal for the new car. Their price on the Golf still inflated but that was what it was for the times (10/30/14). The Golf was missing an interior trim piece ($15), the owners manual ( I thought it would be $20... it was $100), and only had one key fob ( I again thought that the internet would be my friend, it wasn't, VW has some tough security, $200). I didn't notice the windshield was arc scratched from a bad wiper blade not being replaced, I thought it was just a dirty car as it had been on the lot for a few months. It wasn't dirty, $350. I'm the second owner and it turns out there is no service history on the car at Maund nor the other dealership where the car lived in Temple. AND, Maund didn't do any pre-sales service to the car to get it ready for sale. They didn't do ANYTHING to the car to get it ready for sale. The sales team put 3K miles on it since it was advertised until my date of purchase. And someone spilled an entire latte on the cloth passenger seat soon before the sale because it hadn't soured yet. Not until a week after I had it home did that smell start. 3 steam cleans later and the smell was gone, but now, we're into Spring and the humidity is upon us. That reveals a new smell... Cigarettes! To this day I can't get rid of the smell of smoke. I have used so much Lysol and Ozium I should be dead. Now the headliner as of 2 weeks ago is starting to pull away and fall from the center sunroof console and must be replaced $900, or repaired at an upholstery shop $400. Back to the no service history or Maund not doing any... I got stuck with the expensive DSG service, the Brake service, Fuel, air, and cabin filters. They couldn't even change the cabin filters. Leaves fell out from years gone by. A $12 filter and 5 minutes of labor. What sheisters. During my Brake fluid change last week, I was told now that my AUX fuel pump was leaking and will need to be replaced $465. Great. On top of that.. a dealership, I don't know which dealership, damaged the underside of the car at the rails where it would be lifted on the carlift in the shop. You would only see it from a distance as I did as I was walking back to the car in the HEB parking lot and said xxx!! is that!!. I brought it back during the first week after the purchase and they said it was just the previous owner hitting a curb. In all 4 perfect corners, and up on the sides? it was too high for a curb. I brought it to an independent shop and they confirmed carlift, but what can I do. It will cost me to fix. Before you say it, I'm aware AS IS is AS IS and BUYER BEWARE. but I was a loyal customer and I just feel a whole lot of undignified things. VW's aren't what they used to be. Expensive to get into, expensive to maintain, hold no value, and now untrustworthy as they lied about their "CLEAN DIESEL" product. My car is now worthless. Their cars are glittery junk. Look elsewhere for a vehicle and certainly to a dealership with integrity and WITHOUT the MAUND name. More
