The Ann Arbor Varsity was hectic and very busy with little customer parking available. The Novi Varsity parking was much better and the experience was much slower and relaxed. The COVID on-line paperwork was a step backward for Ford (not Varsity). The past practice with the salesperson explaining each of the many forms to sign is much preferred. All the staff at both dealerships are excellent. More

I have worked with multiple salespersons over the years but Shane Smith blew them all out of the water. When I sat down, I relayed to him my thought process, sticking points, and price area. He was extreme but Shane Smith blew them all out of the water. When I sat down, I relayed to him my thought process, sticking points, and price area. He was extremely personable and made the whole interaction feel like more of a conversation than a sales pitch. Within a matter of minutes, he had provided multiple options that fit the criteria I had provided to him. My wife & I were both there and he did a great job of including both of us in the conversation. Prior salespersons I have worked with have keyed in one or the other. On top of that, we met Sean (sales manager) & he was just as personable. They both made a point to make us feel welcome & continuously told us that they would do whatever they could to make sure we walked away happy. They did not disappoint! After we left that night, Shane had an open line of communication via text & e-mail for any questions I had. Not only that but I was able to complete all of the paperwork electronically at home. When we went to pick up the car later on, we were in & out in 20 minutes! Even though the sale was completed & he had another appointment scheduled, he sat down with us to go through every single feature that the car provided. We never felt rushed or like we were 'just another sale'. The following day, Shane checked in to see how things were going & to thank us for our business.
