Great out of state purchase I drove down from Idaho to find a car in a bigger car market. I bought my 2009 Subaru Forester 2 days ago and my experience was overall a pleasant one I drove down from Idaho to find a car in a bigger car market. I bought my 2009 Subaru Forester 2 days ago and my experience was overall a pleasant one. I bought it for $500-$1000 less than other Subaru Forester vehicles of similar year and mileage at other dealers, in fact most had higher mileage. The prices here are already close to or below the NADA retail value so there is not a lot of mark up and no need for haggling. The floor salesman was friendly and the sales manager did everything he could to get me the best rate and keep my payments low and within my price range. I believe his name was Cory. I did not need to leave and go to a bank for a loan as they financed me straight through Mountain America Credit Union. What really impressed me was this event: When I test drove the car there was not a crack in the windshield. After purchasing the car they washed it for me and as I was driving away, I noticed a large crack from the top to the bottom of the windshield. I turned around and went back and without question they gave me a check to get the windshield replaced. They went the extra mile to ensure I would be happy with my purchase instead of denying responsibility. More

Best car buying experience ever! I had been looking around for a new car over the last couple of months. I had no idea what to buy and became somewhat confused with all the choices. I went to Velocity and met Todd (New Zealand guy). The experience with him was very different to the other "sales guys" I had met during my two month search. At first he seemed more interested in knowing a whole lot about me, my situation which I must say made me feel a little uncomfortable. After a while it dawned on me that he was asking these questions to make recommendations on cars that would work for me. Sure enough, within 30 minutes of sitting down at his desk he pulled up a like new 2014 Fusion that was well within my budget! I drove the car and brought it. He knew exactly what I wanted. Hes all business so don't expect a gushy, shmoozey experience from him. The questions may put you off too, But if you go with the process, the whole experience and following transaction was very professional. More
