Excellent Service Department My wife and I were traveling from Pennsylvania to Mitchell SDto visit our Son, and then head to the Badlands for some camping with our 20ft Travel tra My wife and I were traveling from Pennsylvania to Mitchell SDto visit our Son, and then head to the Badlands for some camping with our 20ft Travel trailer being pulled by our New 2018 Ford F150 2.7 Ecoboost Motor. As We exited the Interstate in Sioux City Iowa our F150 died in the intersection and would not restart for a few minutes, and continued to have problems related to the Auto Start Stop function, which should be disabled automatically when towing a trailer, As we approached Mitchell I called Vern Eide Ford and Spoke with Brian in service, and he said they were very busy, but if I could be here the next day at 8am they would scan the truck and try and find the problem. The next Day I was greeted by Adam in Service and he knew exactly what was wrong, and said they would have to reprogram the computer and we should be good to go. Well he was correct, he had us out in 45 mins and on our way. We would like to Thank Vern Eide for Exceptional Customer Service that they provided us !! More
Last minute Charging light came on while pulling a trailer on I90 with our Expedition. Limped into dealership at 4:55 pm. Pam and Erik went above and beyond to locate and install an alternator for us very last minute. They had us on the road again in less than an hour and we were able to make it home to do chores. We went to a locally owned transmission shop in town and they hooked us up right away and had us on the road in less than 30 minutes. This dealership is a joke. More
Engine malfunction We went into to get car looked at. Can’t get it looked at for 3 days or so, so asked for a loaner car because we felt our car was not safe to drive. The hands on approach that you will experience here is by far the best I have found. When you get to the service department, you will find several service writers waiting to assist you with whatever is troubling your vehicle. It doesn't matter if it is a simple oil change or a complete transmission rebuild, these service writers have seen it. They are all great but I would search out Pam Engelland for First Class attention. Her attention to detail is amazing. You will get phone calls and kept in the loop throughout the process. As to the best Mechanic in the house, Ask for Eric van Everdingen . He always goes several steps beyond the expected. He always checks the vehicle over and advises me on things to pay attention to. Brian Reichelt has always been great to work with as well. In Sales, I have always received the best interaction and answers to my sales questions from Tyler Bier. I am a quite a bit older than Tyler and normally prefer an older salesperson but Tyler always treats me with respect and seems to be the most knowledgeable of the sales department. More
