Unknown Vehicle Issue My 2015 F-150 was very low on power, and all of the normal problems were ruled out. Erik and Brian refused to let the issue get the better of them. It took more than a day of trouble shooting, but he was able to discover a piece of sound dampening foam that had become loose from the inner quarter panel of the pickup. By a certain RPM, the foam would cover the air intake and cause the aforementioned lack of power. It was a night and day difference...like having a brand new vehicle! I continue to use Vern Eide for all of my vehicle needs! More
First disappointment Called in the problem after I scanned my computer and was assured it was covered by warranty. Charged me $60 to scan computer to diagnose what I already told them. I was then informed after the 75 mile trip it was not under warranty. So I got a $171 oil change and tire rotation plus mileage. Also do not buy the coverage for batteries, brakes, and other non powertrain. That was a dam joke. But do buy the window coverage. Overall I have been nothing but happy with vern eide but also a few complaints. More
Over the top Help On Wednesday 6 February I was on a quick 2 day trip Denver to Minnesota and back to pick up a 10 week old puppy for my daughter. Stopping at a gas st On Wednesday 6 February I was on a quick 2 day trip Denver to Minnesota and back to pick up a 10 week old puppy for my daughter. Stopping at a gas station in Mitchell, SD to fill up , walk the puppy and take a short pit stop I came out of the convenience store with a Coke and my car keys , put them in the front seat and went back to wash the rear window. When I got back in the Coke was there but the keys /Nada - For the next 45 minutes I searched the car , moved seats , moved luggage , moved boxes and could find nothing - Finally I called the insurance company and got a tow to Vern Eide Ford - From the moment I walked in and explained my problem , they whole staff gather around and tried to offer help {having a 10 week old Griffon puppy in my arms helped attract attention) - In particular, Jason Gibson and Chris Brink went out of their way to offer support . There was no way to start the car without my duplicate key set (in Denver), no rental car available for 80 miles and I was resigned to a 1 to 2 night stay in a motel with a new puppy while the spare keys ere Fed Ex to Mitchell . As Jason helped me explore my FedEx options, Chris said he would take another look through the car. I told him to feel free but I had already been through it four times, 15 minutes later , Chris walked in and asked "These the keys" . He said with a lot of persistence, he finally found them wedged next to the passenger seat next to the seat rail. I cannot say enough about how good nature and helpful these employees were. With there help I did get to Denver at 3 in the morning and the puppy delivered! My thanks to both Jason and Chris! Braden Clements More

Excellent Service Department My wife and I were traveling from Pennsylvania to Mitchell SDto visit our Son, and then head to the Badlands for some camping with our 20ft Travel tra My wife and I were traveling from Pennsylvania to Mitchell SDto visit our Son, and then head to the Badlands for some camping with our 20ft Travel trailer being pulled by our New 2018 Ford F150 2.7 Ecoboost Motor. As We exited the Interstate in Sioux City Iowa our F150 died in the intersection and would not restart for a few minutes, and continued to have problems related to the Auto Start Stop function, which should be disabled automatically when towing a trailer, As we approached Mitchell I called Vern Eide Ford and Spoke with Brian in service, and he said they were very busy, but if I could be here the next day at 8am they would scan the truck and try and find the problem. The next Day I was greeted by Adam in Service and he knew exactly what was wrong, and said they would have to reprogram the computer and we should be good to go. Well he was correct, he had us out in 45 mins and on our way. We would like to Thank Vern Eide for Exceptional Customer Service that they provided us !! More
Last minute Charging light came on while pulling a trailer on I90 with our Expedition. Limped into dealership at 4:55 pm. Pam and Erik went above and beyond to locate and install an alternator for us very last minute. They had us on the road again in less than an hour and we were able to make it home to do chores. We went to a locally owned transmission shop in town and they hooked us up right away and had us on the road in less than 30 minutes. This dealership is a joke. More
Engine malfunction We went into to get car looked at. Can’t get it looked at for 3 days or so, so asked for a loaner car because we felt our car was not safe to drive.
