One cold morning I started it and came out to find the cab full of smoke. Brought to Carter Chevy because I still had Powertrain warranty. They were very knowledgeable and helpful. I really liked talking to Amanda on the phone, being a woman myself it was nice to speak to another woman who could explain to me what was going on, she knows her stuff! They set me up with a rental from Enterprise down the road as well. Overall had excellent customer service from them!!!! More

The service repair was originally not to my satisfaction, however the Service & Parts Manager corrected the situation quickly and provided me with a vehicle while my truck was being worked on. The Service Manager personally took my vehicle for a test drive to make sure I would be satisfied with the service. This dealership has always treated me with respect and has been great about correcting an issue to my satisfaction. When I'm in the market for another truck this will be where I'll go. Thank you to the Service Manager for his professionalism, it's a pleasure working with him. More
Emergency tire fix I noticed my warning light for low tire pressure came on while I was in Manchester. I live in Farmington, CT so I use a dealership closer to my home. But I needed to get this fixed in order to drive home safely so I stopped in at Carter Chevrolet to see if they could fix it for me. They did not hesitate to take my car in and evaluate the situation. I had a nail in my tire and they were able to readily fix it, even though I am not one of their usual customers. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend this dealership to anyone in the area. More

Wonderful car buying experience Following a very frustrating experience at a local Subaru dealership, I was not looking forward to a possible repeat experience at Carter Chevrolet. I needn't have worried because our dealings with Carter Chevrolet were nothing short of amazing. My first clue that this might be the case was the fact that the used car we were interested in was priced right at Kelly Blue Book's fair market price. Additionally, as part of the purchase price, four new tires, new brakes, and a new battery were included. Furthermore, there was some tree sap damage on the hood that could not be removed, so Carter Chevrolet offered to repaint the hood, again at the same purchase price. And all of this took place in well under an hour. I walked away thinking that if every car dealership treated their customers the way Carter Chevrolet treated me, then the bad reputation that car dealerships in general have would disappear. More

Well, here at Carter Chevrolet, they certainly made my car buying experience "Stress Free". From the moment I contacted Carter over the phone, it set the tone for an excellent car buying experience. Talking with Michael, before ever coming through the door, made me feel as though he understood what I needed and wanted, Appointments were easily made for me..a (weekend was not an issue with Carter). Once we arrived at the Carter show room; my wife and I were both, greeted & acknowledged. Paul Koldras - (Manager), was kind enough to take the time to give both my wife and I a Test drive. Paul was very knowledgeable of the Chevy Colorado, and took the time and patience to answer (any) questions. Bob Fedus was outstanding as a sales person; he too took time with us, and made car buying "Stress free". Both Paul and Bob took the time to help me locate MY DREAM CHEVY Colorado 2016!!
