Outstanding on all levels! When I first stepped into the dealership, I was welcomed with a very friendly greeting and the man at the front desk asked me if there was anything he could help me with today. I told him that I wanted to take a look at the alpine white 2011 BMW M3 (my dream car), and he went and grabbed a salesman for me. While I was waiting for only a couple of minutes, he told me I could sit in the brand new fiery red Corvette Stingray sitting in the showroom. I felt like a kid sitting in that thing, it was incredible! Beats any waiting room I've ever been in! He returned with the salesman, Mark Cross, who invited me to go outside and take a look at the car with him. Mark was very friendly, personable, and easy to talk to. He answered all of my questions, and he had a very sincere quality about him. Mark and I took the car for a test drive (it took everything I had in me to keep from flooring the 414hp V8 monster), and he took me on an excellent route for testing out the car. We hit the highway, some residential roads, and a brief twisty back road to circle back. When we arrived back at the dealership, we got started on the paperwork. He had my old car assessed for its trade-in value, and I got what I expected for it. He and Jonathan Buttero (their financial expert) were able to get me financing at the monthly rate I had aimed for. They both answered any questions I had during this process and they were both very knowledgable. After only 30 to 45 minutes or so, they informed me that they had sent out the auto loan paperwork and told me I would be notified the next day whether or not I was approved. The next morning I received the exciting news from Mark that I had been approved, and that the car would be ready for me to pick up the next day at 330pm! The next day I met with Mark and went over a few details, before meeting with Jonathan again to put the finishing touches on the paperwork. Both men were extremely friendly and welcoming throughout the entire process. Before I knew it I was driving home in a car I have wanted for years, with a smile from ear to ear! Not only because of the car, but because of the excellent service the team at Carter Chevrolet provided! More

Rob explained and worked with me assisting throughout the sale, paperwork, loan and follow-up with my insurance agent. He is a huge asset to both the GM/Chevrolet name as well as the Carter dealership in Manchester, CT. I could not have expected or asked for anyone else who would have shown the qualities of a top-notch sales agent other than Rob demonstrated. It was a guaranteed satisfaction to/for me and my Chevrolet selection which is perfect for me. Thank you, Rob and Carter's (again). More
My New Chevy Cruze What a terrific experience here! I came in Wednesday evening on whim because my old car had a dead transmission and I still owed money on it. I didn't think they would be able to do anything for me, but within minutes Ron went to work. He did everything he could to help and he was genuine and honest the entire time. By Friday they took my old car off my hands and I was driving away in a new Cruze! I really appreciate everything Ron did for me, would definitely recommend to all family and friends. More

bluetooth is working again my daughter purchased a used 2011 Cruze but we could never get the bluetooth for pair, we took it to Carter and after a few days in the shop it finall my daughter purchased a used 2011 Cruze but we could never get the bluetooth for pair, we took it to Carter and after a few days in the shop it finally paired with our phones, and the great news is that Carter was able to get GM to pick up all but $100 of what had to be close to a $1000 job when you include the new bluetooth module, the labor to take the dash apart to get the old module out, and for one day when the dash was apart, they provided me with a rental car for the day, i usually avoid going to a dealer for most repair work, but something like a this there is no outside shop that would even look at this, as the bluetooth is so tightly integrated with the phone, radio, and steering wheel controls. Great job by Carter Chevrolet! More

Although I purchased a Mazda 3 from Mazda of Manchester, Mark did all of the leg work for me. I gave him the specs and within a couple of days he had the exact car I wanted. I drove it off the lot the same day I test drove it. The ease of this transaction was the same as I've always had in the past when purchasing or leasing Chevys. Needless to say, I would recommend Mike Cross and Carter's to anyone looking for a good car, a good deal, and great service.. Mike's honesty and integrity is an intangible asset to Carter's. I've delt with Carter's Chevrolet in Manchester since I first got my license many, many years ago and would not consider going to another dealership for purchasing and servicing of my automobiles. They are 5 stars+. More

Great place to get a car. I was looking for a vehicle since August I had visited Carter's and then procceded to several other dealerships shopping around. After several bad de I was looking for a vehicle since August I had visited Carter's and then procceded to several other dealerships shopping around. After several bad dealings with other places I returned to Carter's and Ron. He was always willing to make time for me and my questions he did his best to meet my requests for prices and cars. In the end I wish I had bought a car sooner and avoided the other hassles I went through shopping around. I have stopped in a couple times since then for a free car wash and have never been met with anything but pleasant and happy workers willing to take the car for free through their car wash since I bought my vehicle from them. More
