I returned the next day with no problem and did purchase my car of choice. I never felt any type of sales pressure to purchase the car. Everyone is always courteous and my car gets taken care of quickly. I was advised of which services are coming up without being pushed into them. I've brought my car in to Carter's service center several times and each time I leave with my car in excellent running condition. Their recommendations are always helpful and they are willing to work several times and each time I leave with my car in excellent running condition. Their recommendations are always helpful and they are willing to work with you to prioritize repairs as needed. Even if you do not know cars well they will help explain the use and operation of parts to help you understand the reasoning behind a repair. The staff is exceptionally friendly as well. As far as repairs go, they are also usually quick with having your car ready unless they need to order new parts. During the whole process they also keep you informed of how the repairs are going. I definitely recommend. More

I am always satisfied with the service I receive at Carter Chevrolet, and especially with Ray. He is knowledgeable and very helpful when I call to setup a time for my GE Fleet vehicle to be serviced, Carter Chevrolet, and especially with Ray. I usually look forward to a dealership visit like I do a trip to the dentist, except that there is no anesthesia. This trip, however, proved to be completely different and was a pleasant surprise. I had talked to Ron prior to my visit about the car I wanted; he was kind enough to tell me everything I needed to bring so that my purchase would go smoothly. Unfortunately, I arrived late for my appointment and waited to work out the deal, but that is my responsibility, not anyone else's. The staff I encountered were kind and courteous, showing my wife and I where we could sit and relax with a nice cuppa joe. My financial institution had goofed up the paperwork on their end, which made me worry that I wasn't going to be able to take delivery of the car. However, I was pleasantly surprised again. Between Ron, the Sales Manager, General Manager, and Steve Carter, they swung it so that I could purchase the car that day, with no hitches, haggles, or trouble on their end whatsoever. I should also note that during the vehicle inspection, my wife noticed a cracked taillight. Ron immediately had a new one place on order so that it can be replaced at no cost to me. I have nothing but high marks for Ron and the rest of the staff I dealt with at Carter Chevy last weekend. I got a good, reliable used car at a reasonable price. They worked with me, even though I was 45 minutes late and brought in hosed paperwork from my financial institution. If a potential customer is reading this review and wondering if a trip to Carter is worthwhile, I say, "Go for it!" During my visit, I took time to peruse the used car inventory; there are some great deals on cars on the lot that I would have gladly bought, had I the money to do so. If you visit Carter Chevy, I don't think you'll regret it; in fact, I bet you'll probably find something you like and have a great experience like I and many others have. More
Prior to this experience, I had leased two other Malibu's from Carter Chevrolet utilizing Ron Sloan and on this 3rd occasion I asked for him again. Ron is extremely personable, friendly, and never pushy and the whole leasing experience is excellent when you don't feel pressured. My wife and I had just taken a 77 day, 12750 mile, cross-country trip during the summer of 2013 with our 2011 Malibu and it performed marvelously throughout the trip - up and down mountains and throughout many days of high mileage driving. Not a single problem or issue! We did get the oil changed in Seattle, Washington, after we had driven over 5000 miles on the first leg of our trip. That was the only maintenance we performed during the whole trip. After this vehicle performed so well, it was an easy decision to continue leasing a Malibu as our primary vehicle and the 2014 Malibu that we just leased on January 21st looks beautiful.
