I recently had my transmission replaced in Pennsylvania on my 2004 Chevy Trailblazer. On Thursday, 5/23/13 I was on my way to Cape Cod for vacation from the suburbs of Philadelphia when my transmission be on my 2004 Chevy Trailblazer. On Thursday, 5/23/13 I was on my way to Cape Cod for vacation from the suburbs of Philadelphia when my transmission began to fail. I contacted Carter Chevrolet as it was close by to Rte 84 where I'd been traveling and experiencing problems with my SUV. I spoke with Ray Maher who told me to bring it in and they would do their best to take care of it and find out what was going on with my vehicle. Ray was extremely friendly and courteous upon my arrival and quickly went to work securing a rental car for me which was a challenging task as the supply was low due to the holiday weekend and I needed a vehicle comparable in size to my Trailblazer as I had a passenger with me and I was transporting a bike and lots of food, clothing, supplies, etc. for a vacation. While Ray worked on getting me a rental car, John Machado took my information to get the vehicle in the queue to be checked out. John was also very friendly and courteous. The vehicle was expected to be completely repaired on Tuesday, 5/28 and since it was a holiday weekend and parts needed to be ordered, there was a slight delay and so I drove to Carter Chevrolet on Wednesday, 5/29. There was so much work to be done on the transmission and since I had just had it replaced 3 weeks earlier, it made more sense to totally replace it again rather than tearing it apart to replace more parts. I then drove home to Pennsylvania in a rental car which Carter Chevrolet arranged for me. They even accommodated me driving back up to Connecticut on Sunday, 6/2 to exchange the rental car for my vehicle even though they were closed on Sundays. During the entire process, John was in communication with me about the status of the repair and kept me updated. It was an extreme pleasure to deal with him and the staff at Carter Chevrolet especially since we were able to work everything out so that I could still take my vacation, my vehicle was under expert care, and I was still with transportation. I highly recommend Carter Chevrolet to anyone who needs service as it will be a great experience! More

I brought my new truck in for its regular checkup and a minor window issue. The personnel at Carter were very frienly and accomodating. We needed a new key fob. They ordered the new one, programmed it and didn't charge us anything for that service. Mr. Repay was very helpful, patient and courteous. Took the time to have several vehicles ready for me to look at and test drive when I arrived. I shopped around at several dealers, looking at different models out there and the experience at carter was great from the moment I arrived!
