Just purchased a 2013 Malibu from Carter Chevrolet and Ron Sloan. Within minutes of my initial inquiry on the internet on a Friday evening, Carter Chevrolet had arranged for me to test drive three vehicl Ron Sloan. Within minutes of my initial inquiry on the internet on a Friday evening, Carter Chevrolet had arranged for me to test drive three vehicles I was considering (The Cruze, the Malibu, and the Impala) the very next morning. Upon arrival at 9:00 a.m., I was greeted by Sales Manager Michael Moore, who was extremely personable. We chatted as Ron prepared the three vehicles, and so began the decision-making process. Ron was extremely patient with me as I weighed the pros and cons of each car and agonized over my decision. [NOTE: The Cruze and Malibu are GREAT cars for the value in comparison to other manufacturers I have researched]. There was no pressure whatsoever to buy; I felt as though I was back at the Saturn dealership when I purchased my first car back in the early 1990s! Ron just offered information and discussion as I weighed the merits of each car and each option package. Nothing more. I ended up purchasing the Malibu a couple of days later, and to his credit, Ron even apprised me of some other rebates I was eligible for but did not realize. He even took care of handling the "cashing in" of my GM Card reward points for me. All in all, a surprisingly-- dare I say shockingly-- positive experience. I was dreading buying a new car, but this transaction turned out to be easier and much more pleasant than all the other routine transactions we all encounter (e.g., grocery shopping at Stop and Shop on a Saturday. Ugh!) Kudos to Michael Moore, Michael Sawyer, Lou Martin ("Go Dolphins!"), Ron Sloan, and the rest of the staff at Carter Chevrolet. Thanks, guys. More
I just picked up my brand new Chevy Equinox yesterday and had an extremely pleasant overall experience. From the salesperson, Andrew Repay, who did not leave any question unanswered, to the business manager had an extremely pleasant overall experience. My dad bought his Malibu a couple years ago so I decided that I would visit Carter Chevrolet when I was ready to purchase a new car. I went in on a Saturday to test drive the 2013 Cruze and I was able to g that I would visit Carter Chevrolet when I was ready to purchase a new car. I went in on a Saturday to test drive the 2013 Cruze and I was able to go home later that day with it. I would definitely recommend Carter Chevrolet. More

This was my first experience being intimately involved in purchasing a car, so I was pleasantly surprised to be greeted by a such a friendly and helpful sales consultant. My grandfather in Kentucky was purchasing the car for me over the phone and through snail mail, so Andrew had to deal with both of us on several occasions. I never felt that he was frustrated with the go-between, and though he was dealing directly with my grandfather, he always kept me "in the loop" by calling me to let me know the progress on sale. Every time I visited the dealership, Andrew was friendly, personable, and always willing to answer questions. He has a very genuine personality, something that I very much appreciated while I was navigating this new experience. He was very accommodating to my schedule, and even came in on his day off so I could pick up the car and he could personally give me the tour of my new Malibu. Not only would I recommend Carter Chevrolet, I would hands-down recommend working with Andrew. Thanks a million! More
When I first started this process, I went on Carter's website to get information on the new 2013 Chevrolet Malibu, while I was on the website I noticed the Autotrader.com section, and filled out the form website to get information on the new 2013 Chevrolet Malibu, while I was on the website I noticed the Autotrader.com section, and filled out the form to get a trade estimate on my 2006 Jeep Grand Cherokee - the estimated amount was more than I thought. I worked with the Internet Department, where Michael and Kay provided me pros and cons of the Chevrolet Malibu and Mazda6 ( I was very interested in both). When I arrived, Kay was ready to assist me, we looked at the Malibu and then drove right down the road to test drive the Mazda6. While I was on the test drive, I was able to get my Jeep appraised. I was very happy that it was more than the Autotrader. The exact vehicle I wanted was not on their lot, but Kay and Paul (The Sales Manager) were able to find my exact vehicle and get it to the dealership within a couple of days. Lou Martin was awesome, and got the lowest payment possible for me. I am so happy with my Malibu, better MPG than the Jeep that's for sure. I am very happy with everyone at Carter Chevrolet. Kay knew what I wanted and got the job done. Highly recommend this dealership. More

It did indeed turn out to be a gimmick, and the actual price was higher, but still a couple of hundred below Carter's. No questions asked, they met it. I purchased the vehicle at once.Never put any pressure on me. Friendly and honest. Not often found in this business. Plus, they are actually obtaining the exact vehicle for me from another dealer. Great family run business. Forget the "BIG dealers" wit the pressure and gimmicks. Go to Carters. More
Carter Chevrolet in Manchester is the only dealer that I will go to to buy any car. The sales team is exceptional. They are not there to just sell you a car.
