When I called, they said the devices were already done and there was no going back. So I sent my husband up to help her handle the situation and Brian - service manager - cussed him out, F word and all! The entire service department was unprofessional on so many levels.that we will NEVER use Vic Canever for anything ever again. More
The move to charge costumers 3% for using a credit card was a surprise. The bigger surprise was that the 3% is AUTOMATICALLY added to the bill so I needed to ask to have it removed!!! was a surprise. November 1, 2023 had 4 wheel brake and fluid flush service on 2015 Equinox with 75,000 miles. Original brakes. Took vehicle back for pulse in pedal and softness in pedal on 5-30-2024 with 78,000 miles service on 2015 Equinox with 75,000 miles. Original brakes. Took vehicle back for pulse in pedal and softness in pedal on 5-30-2024 with 78,000 miles. Also had transmission fluid service and asked for quote to repair rocker panel surface rust on passenger side near front door at front fender. I received a call that the problem was rust got in it. Since having done brakes on multiple vehicles over 30 years I vehicles I was extremely aggravated by their idea to turn brand new rotors. 30 or 40 years ago that might have been ok. Not with today’s cheap thin rotors. Clearly, the oxidized material left on the wheel bearing hub was not properly removed, it caused improper wear and then the rotor turned against the hub removing the oxidation making the pulse. Or the rotor(s) were defective. Either way in just 6 months and 3,000 miles they should have been replaced. The transmission service seems to have gone fine and shifting has improved. The area under the vehicle shows signs it was worked on and fluid sample indicates it was replaced. However, I did not get a quote to fix the surface rust. The employees were very friendly but this would be a minimum expectation and does not make up for the extremely poor service and lack of standing behind their service which seems to be standard business practices lately. I would certainly not buy a vehicle here. Nor would I have survive as 2 out of three incidents were a complete failure. More

I have purchased over 25 new vehicles over the last six years from many of dealerships across this country. !00% satisfied on all 25 vehicles. this Vic Canever CAN NOT EVER ask for another sale years from many of dealerships across this country. !00% satisfied on all 25 vehicles. this Vic Canever CAN NOT EVER ask for another sale from me. it was a horrible Experience buying from these guys. I took a flight in to pick up a new truck ,I waited around there dealership about three hours asking them to plz speed this process up as I have a three hour plus drive home. The selling price and appointment was all set up days in advance. So So many things went wrong with this transaction. please do yourself a favor and never say canever- this is a can't ever Dealership. I ask if I trailered this truck back up to canever to return this truck and pick up a different truck that I drove for three hours and had a total 225 miles on it. would this be possible, He said No way a Deal is a deal, after Ten minutes on the phone with the Gm and him giving me every excuse he could come up w and I'm shooting them down, , He said, sure bring it back up. I loaded it up and was heading in that direction to trade it in . he called and said No go, He had a change of heart after I drove one hour.( Bring it- No don't bring it) . I am putting a list of other complaints together from other unhappy customers that I've located and I'll be posting along w my issue w the Gm ( Mark Stevens ) Business manager - Mark Tolbert. really--- Only 200 miles and under 24 hours and you would not let me return it for another more expensive truck.
