Confirmed Availability, 90-Mile Drive… Then Two Different Stories I’m sharing this experience so other buyers can make informed decisions before traveling to this dealership. I was in direct communicat Stories I’m sharing this experience so other buyers can make informed decisions before traveling to this dealership. I was in direct communication with a salesperson named Cole at Victorville Chevrolet for three consecutive days regarding a specific vehicle: 2026 Chevrolet Trax ACTIV VIN: KL77LKEP5TC047841 Advertised price: $21,831 Cole was responsive throughout those three days and confirmed details about the vehicle. On the morning of my visit (around 10:00 AM), I spoke with Cole again and was explicitly told the vehicle was still available and that I should come to the dealership. To demonstrate I was a serious buyer, I: Submitted a credit application in advance Asked to place a deposit to secure the vehicle (this was declined) Based on that confirmation, I drove approximately 90 miles and arrived around 11:45 AM. When I arrived, Cole greeted me and then introduced me to the internet manager, Jeremy. Jeremy was now my point of contact so i belive Cole is just an appointment setter. At that point, I was told the vehicle was “out on a test drive.” Shortly afterward, Jeremy changed the explanation and stated the vehicle had actually been sold online. Those two explanations directly contradict each other, and both conflict with the confirmation I received just hours earlier before making the drive. Another important detail is the pricing. The vehicle was advertised at $21,831, while the MSRP is over $27,000 — more than a $5,000 difference. That type of pricing is what initially drew my attention, and based on this experience, it raises concerns that the vehicle may have been used to attract buyers rather than actually being available. For context, I am not new to Chevrolet. I currently own a Chevy Suburban and have owned three Chevrolets prior. I came in ready to purchase and took all the appropriate steps ahead of time to make the process smooth. Instead, I experienced a complete breakdown in communication and what felt like a very misleading process that resulted in a 180-mile round trip and several hours lost. I’m not making assumptions — just sharing exactly what happened so others can decide for themselves. Recommendation: If you are considering traveling for a vehicle from this dealership, make sure you have written confirmation and understand that the situation may not match what you were told prior to arrival. I had a very disappointing and frustrating experience with Victorville Chevrolet Cadillac that I feel other buyers need to be aware of. I called this dealership about a 2022 Tesla Model 3 that was adver with Victorville Chevrolet Cadillac that I feel other buyers need to be aware of. I called this dealership about a 2022 Tesla Model 3 that was advertised at a reasonable price of $23k. Everything seemed straightforward at first--until after they ran my credit. Once that was done, the numbers suddenly changed in a major way. The total for the vehicle jumped to a grand total of $39k. They attempted to add nearly $10,000 in questionable charges, including $6,000 for "accessories," a nearly $5,000 for a “service contract”, and other add-ons that were never clearly disclosed upfront. These were not optional in how they presented them--they were baked into the deal after the fact. As a result, I took a hard inquiry hit on my credit for what turned into a completely misleading and dishonest experience. This felt like a classic bait-and-switch tactic: - Advertise a competitive price - Run your credit - Then inflate the total with unnecessary add-ons I had to walk away immediately, but the damage to my credit was already done. Buyers--be extremely cautious here. Make sure you get a full, itemized out-the-door price BEFORE allowing any credit check. What happened here was not transparent, and it's not how a reputable dealership should operate. I would not recommend doing business here. More
Took my car to the service dept with my 2019 Equinox for white smoke coming out tailpipe. They said they tested it and they said cooling system not holding pressure. Radiator broken and failed block test. W white smoke coming out tailpipe. They said they tested it and they said cooling system not holding pressure. Radiator broken and failed block test. Wanted to replace engine 14, 000 dollars. The car isn't worth that. Im gonna have another professional check it. Out of warranty now. 105,000 miles. They wont help at all. GM doesn't care that you spend all that money and years paying off your car. Figure your Chevy will last til out of warranty then they want you to get a new car basically. One last thing. No lights whatsoever came on warning me of any problems. More

Our sales representative was wonderful—knowledgeable, helpful, and easy to work with. Unfortunately, things took a turn when it came time to review the pricing. The dealership is engaging in what feels like false advertising. They openly acknowledged it and refused to correct it. They added over $7,000 in additional “services” (LoJack, windshield protection, battery service, and 3M protection) to the advertised price of the vehicle. What’s especially frustrating is that their own website states that all additional accessories or services are either included in the listed price or not required. When we brought this up, the manager stated they “did not have to follow that law until October.” Regardless, their website clearly sets an expectation for buyers that is not being honored. Buyers should be aware and prepared to pay thousands above the advertised price. We also came in with our own financing, yet they would not honor the listed cash price because it supposedly included rebates tied to using their financing—which defeats the purpose of a cash price. Overall, this felt very misleading and dishonest. It’s clear they know exactly what they’re doing. Buyer beware. More
Piece of xxxx dealership didn't honor the pricing they sent in writing. Tried to re-negotiate the whole deal when I stepped into the dealership and charge us $5k more than what was originally agreed to in sent in writing. Tried to re-negotiate the whole deal when I stepped into the dealership and charge us $5k more than what was originally agreed to in writing. We agreed to come up $4k and they wouldn't budge on pricing. Drove 2 hours each way for this terrible experience. Typical sleazy car dealership. They told us maybe 10x before we showed up "your presence is your power" and "we never lose a customer based on price"... welp both of those things are untrue because my presence in the dealership cost us $5k upcharge and they lost a customer. Hopefully more customers in the future. RUN TO A DIFFERENT DEALERSHIP!!!! More
After a rocky start with this dealership, I’m glad I didn’t give up. I initially walked away frustrated over pricing disagreements, but after escalating my concerns formally, management stepped up and m didn’t give up. I initially walked away frustrated over pricing disagreements, but after escalating my concerns formally, management stepped up and made things right. They honored a fair price on a 2024 Lexus RZ 450e — no runaround, no last-minute add-ons. The final deal was transparent and actually came in as one of the best prices I found nationally after researching extensively. It took some back and forth to get here, but at the end of the day they came through. If you’re patient and persistent, there’s a deal to be made. Just make sure you get everything confirmed in writing before making the drive. Leaving with a great car and a fair price — that’s ultimately what matters. More
