I originally went to victory Honda in Highland (2 hour drive) to look at 3 specific cars. Mike Walsh confirmed that the cars were there. They were not there. They then offered alternatives. I asked a few times for the rock bottom price as I just wanted to get to the nitty gritty. Sales representative returned every time without a clear answer. I left and went to Victory Michigan City. I bought my last car here, got all of my service done here, and when I needed a new one, came right back here. In my opinion that’s the type of customer you want to take care of. I felt that the process was just more difficult than it needed to be. I got my car appraised and did the credit app on a Thursday, test drove and picked a car that night, my husband test drove it the next morning. The salesperson told me that they would be able to bring my paperwork and the car up to my work on Friday so I didn’t have to bring my kids up on Saturday. It was very difficult to get a response from her because they were busy. Ended up not getting done Friday. Had to come up Saturday with my children and was given the news that not only would my rate be different, I would not qualify for the 2 year bumper to bumper I was told the night before I would. I was noticeably aggravated, so they ended up giving me the warranty and getting a rate that was still higher than the night before, but I agreed to. Steven was super helpful and explained everything thoroughly and I appreciated that. The part that frustrated me the most was that the car wasn’t cleaned. I found wrappers wedged in between seats, ripped up paper in the seat back pockets, stains in the cup holders, stains on the trim pieces in the back, just honestly disgusting. I spent 2 hours cleaning it when I got home before putting anything in it. At his point I was so frustrated with the process, it wasn’t even worth calling to complain. I just wanted to be done. I completely understand the change over and the headaches that causes, but not properly cleaning a car someone is about to take home? Not cool. I will still come for service because I really like Dylan and Dana, but I won’t buy another car here again. More
