The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, but terrible at communicating. I've called five times over the last three days to find out when I could come get my car. I took my car in for an oil change and software update for recalls. They said it would take a couple of hours and asked me to wait in the lobby. After two hours, they said it would be another 45 min. It ended up taking them 5 hours to do the software update. If they had been realistic from the start about how long it was going to take I could have gone in to work and not squandered my entire day at the dealership. More

This is a really friendly and knowledgeable service department. I took my 2001 Miata here to get an oil change and diagnose the check engine light. My main contact was Phay and he took the time to expl department. I took my 2001 Miata here to get an oil change and diagnose the check engine light. My main contact was Phay and he took the time to explain everything I needed and why, and in a manner I could understand. (I had some contact with Alex, who was equally as friendly and knowledgeable.) There's no attitude or talking down to people. They make you feel welcome here. Phay made sure I was getting the discounts from my coupon (the dealer emails monthly specials to customers on the email list). They make texting an option to communicate about the status, repairs, and costs. I used both texting and a phone call or two. My Miata is now running great and feels as zippy as the day I bought it. This Miata has not needed much of anything major over the years, so the items they repaired were definitely due for it. I got a loaner car while they did the repairs. I recommend taking your Mazda here. It was a good customer experience and as stress-free as having a car repair can be! I also liked that they were familiar with working on my older Miata. More
