Thanks, Mike, for contacting Victory Subaru - Home of the Lifetime Warranty! To be fair, Mr. Napoleon is the General Manager of the dealership and while he knows quite a bit he doesn't really know everything about the vehicles we sell - that's why we have a trained sales staff and he passed along your questions to them. The note you sent to his attention was a meandering, 300 word, steady-stream-of-consciousness gobbledygook that was not easily parsed. You rambled on about roof racks and cargo boxes between different models and wondered what would fit with what. You had said that you were sending the same nonsense to 5 different dealerships. You had said that you were going to take 5 or 6 weeks to get this done and make a decision. Any car we would have quoted you, on our lot, would not still be sitting here for 5 or 6 weeks while you decided. While Mr. Napoleon may not have personally responded to you, his agent sent nearly a dozen email responses to you that you did not even open. Next time, try writing to Governor Murphy about potholes or trash collection and see what kind of response you get...

Interesting response, which tells you all you need to know. What company responds like this? So the General Manager of the dealership doesn't know everything about the vehicles you sell. OK. Problem #1. If that is truly the case, then he should have written back saying he received my e-mail and thought it was best to let someone from his sales staff handle it. That, my friend, is called customer service. I sent a very clear, specific request of what I was looking for. If you don't have the attention span to read it and respond one way or the other, then I don't know what to tell you. Yes, I sent the same request to several dealers. A test, if you will, to weed out those who don't know how to play ball. Liberty Subaru -- and honestly, anyone looking for a Subaru should be going here; no one else in the area comes close to them on all counts -- managed to read my "meandering, 300 word, steady-stream-of-consciousness gobbledygook" of an e-mail on June 4, and on June 9, I traded in my old Outback, walked out with a new one with a fair deal and everyone was happy. I responded to all of your e-mails and though Kyle Cole was helpful and responsive, ultimately, we were unable to reach a deal, as what he offered was much higher than the car I ended up with. Victory Subaru reached out to me asking about my experience, specifically mentioning Anthony Napoleon. I responded honestly. If you don't like the answer, then be better.
