Chris is a sales person that goes above and beyond to help a customer. I will be taking the car-train and Amtrak said you should put your car in the "Valet Mode to prevent the alarm system from going off help a customer. I will be taking the car-train and Amtrak said you should put your car in the "Valet Mode to prevent the alarm system from going off. It's a rarely used feature, so it was not surprising that when I visited the dealership, the sales and customer service people were not familiar with it (although they did try to help me). Chris was not there, but the other sales told me the he was the guy to talk to. I called the next day and spoke to Chris. He had not heard of it either , but he went to one of technicians who also had not heard of it. That technician dropped everything and together with Chris figured it out. I went to the dealership the very next morning and Chris sat with me in the car to demonstrate and ensure the I could do it. I cannot overstate how important this was to me and importantly, it was not Chris the sold me the car!!! . More

Still Happy with Victory Subaru after Two Years and Maintenance Mode I bought my 2020 Subaru Legacy from Victory Subaru in 12/2019. After the purchase I posted 5-star reviews on 6 sites, stating ho Maintenance Mode I bought my 2020 Subaru Legacy from Victory Subaru in 12/2019. After the purchase I posted 5-star reviews on 6 sites, stating how great Victory Subaru was in every category and department. After the honeymoon period, many dealerships slack off, because they have already made the sale. Not so with Victory Subaru. (See my initial reviews in 12/2019 and 01/2020.) I am now in maintenance and service mode. Victory Subaru continues to shine an exceed expectations. Their Service Advisors are superb. Of late, my Service Advisor was Niki Dey. From the time she picked up the phone, when I made a service appointment to the time she checked out my car once it had been serviced, she was professional, patient, and willing to spend a lot of time looking at my car records to make sure that all service was current, as prescribed by Subaru, including checking for any factory upgrades or recalls. She explained in great detail what was being done to the car and why. She explained every line item on the bill. She gave me discounts, even though I had not brought the appropriate coupons with me. Never did I feel that I was being rushed. She even asked the detail department for recommendations for cleaning products for the exterior and interior surfaces and gave me a sample of cleaning solution to try before I made a product purchase. Also, of note, since I made the appointment with her, she said I should ask for her when I came in and she would take care of me. I had one point of contact, so I did not feel as if I were being shuffled around and no one person would be accountable. I felt confident that I would be given good personal service when I came in, and I was. I will ask for her, again, when I bring my car in for its next service. And, they honor promises made by the sales person, when the car is bought. Marcus Behar, the sales person, who sold me my Legacy, was on personal leave. He had promised me two special car cleanings, as a thank you for writing 6 reviews of the dealership and of himself. (He was the best sales person I have ever encountered in the past 52 years as car owner.) I wanted to take advantage of those cleanings, but they were not listed with the service department, which has its own records. Since Marcus was on leave, I initially thought I would not get the cleanings. So, I simply stopped by the office of Anthony Melia, the General Sales Manager. He remembered me from two years ago and acknowledged the two car cleanings without even checking the sales records that Marcus might have kept. Many other dealerships would have challenged me, I am sure, since I had nothing but my hand-written record of those cleanings. Anthony said that when I want the cleanings done, I should just stop by his office, and he would make it happen. Anthony had been very active in talking to me when I was buying the car, also. Now, after the sale, he was still very welcoming and said I could stop in to talk to him anytime I was in the dealership, regardless of reason. By contrast, when I was trying to buy a car two years ago, the Sales Managers in a couple other dealerships could not be bothered even meeting me, when the sales person just wanted to introduce a potential customer. When I bring my car into Victory Subaru, I feel welcome and like part of the Subaru family. This was my third service visit, per recommended schedule. While sitting in the comfortable lounge, having complimentary coffee and snacks, various dealership folks stop by to see that all was going well and ask if I need anything. I could go on and on, but I think I have made my point. Victory Subaru is a wonderful dealership. I get the feeling the employees think of each other as family. And from what I have observed from watching how other customers are treated and from my own personal experience, I feel that they treat their customers as part of the Subaru family, too. This feeling of family is promoted from the top down. Anthony Melia, the General Sales Manager, sets the example that he expects his ‘family’ to follow. Thank you, Victory Subaru, for great experiences in the past, now and, I know, in the future. Joan Costello, Branchburg, NJ More
My car was returned to me after weeks of them having it in worse shape than it was given to them. I cannot get a call back from this Service Manager even after several days of calling and speaking to assi in worse shape than it was given to them. I do not recommend this Dealership to anyone as their Customer service has been horrific in my experience. More

She is kind, affable, caring and the Subaru - had window guards and moonroof deflector installed - my service associate Destiny is just wonderful! She is kind, affable, caring and the quintessential professional - a very rare and special combination. I have met a great many service/sales people in my personal & professional life and I can honestly say that she is a cut above the rest. She goes above and beyond to make the customer's service experience a resounding "10". John (service technician)did a great job installing the window guards & moon roof deflector - and so quick! I was in and out within 2 hours - all on a busy Friday! I actually love going to the dealer for service now - something I never did with prior dealers, Thank you, Destiny and Victory Subaru! Do NOT go to this dealership for service, they hughly overcharge for parts and then the service advisor will lie to you to try and get you to do extra work so they can raise the price even higher. They c overcharge for parts and then the service advisor will lie to you to try and get you to do extra work so they can raise the price even higher. They charged me over $300 for a part that other Subaru dealerships only charge $180. And on top of all that, the service advisor will speak to you in a condescending tone the entire time. I will NEVER go back there. More
