My experience with Caleb Powers, my service adviser, was excellent. He is thoughtful and very helpful and I appreciated his help. I could watch on the map on my phone with the Lyft app that the driver who was supposed to drive me home that he was obviously picking up at least 2 other different rides before coming to get me and I asked Caleb to cancel and arrange for anther driver. So I had to wait for at least another 30 minutes. More

The used car we purchased in April 2026 had a dent in it and was heavily deodorized. We didn’t notice the dent because it was a foggy, gloomy day, but once the sun came out, it was evident. We took it back to them so they could repair it and address the incredibly strong smell from the deodorizer had been sprayed inside, especially in the headliner. They had the car for almost 2 weeks and hadn’t done anything with it. We let them know several times (because we had to talk to several different people because communication was terrible and no one was calling us back so we were passed around to 4-5 different people), that they could not use any scented products or fragrance to clean the car and remove the deodorizer smell. This was due to our sensitivity (migraines, asthma, etc). They assured us they would not. When we finally got the car back, it smelled worse than before. The deodorizer smell was still very present and now on top of it, the cleaning products they used to address removing this smell or just as bad. Now we were dealing with extremely strong chemicals and fragrances. Since we purchased this car 3 months ago, my wife has not been able to drive in it with me. We have spent over $500 trying to remedy the situation ourselves to no avail. They were clearly trying to cover up something since the headliner was very stained. They would not replace the headliner, even though a good portion of the smell was coming from it. The communication during this entire process was absolutely terrible. We would leave messages and we get passed around to different people and have to tell our story all over again. One minute the “dent guy” was coming on a Tuesday the next minute he wasn’t going to be there until the following week. It was incredibly inconvenient to not have the car for two weeks. And the worst part of it all is that they did not remove the deodorizer smell which is so strong that the offgassing process isn’t even helping it to go away. Nor are any of our personal attempts. We covered the inside of the car and baking soda and let it sit for a full week in the hot sun, unused. We bought a special machine called the Bissell little green machine to clean the seats and the carpet. We bought zeolite and charcoal bamboo and left them in pans in the car to absorb the smells. We even bought coffee grounds to do the same thing. It’s been never-ending and we cannot enjoy this car still. We might have to sell it because the smell just is not getting any better. I would caution anyone who has any sensitivity to chemicals and fragrance and scents to spend some serious time in the car that they’re considering purchasing from victory Toyota. Don’t assume the offgassing will happen and it will get better. At this point, I think our only option is to completely replace the headliner and I don’t even know if that will help. We already threw out all of the floor mats and bought new ones since they also stank. At one point we drove all the way down there to drop off the car since they told us to come drop it off and they didn’t have a loaner for us so we had to drive all the way down there again. It’s about an hour drive one way. When we finally picked up our car, they didn’t even fill it with gas even though we drove down there multiple times for now reason. This place is terrible. I regret buying this car. More
