Tire transducer not defective I brought my 2010 camary in for an oil change and to check the tires since I was getting a low Air warning on the dash. Oil change went well but th I brought my 2010 camary in for an oil change and to check the tires since I was getting a low Air warning on the dash. Oil change went well but the low warning on Air Pressure was not diagnose correctly. The mechanic indicated that the pressure was about 29 psi but he could not add any air to the tire stem and indicated that the transducer in the tire was defective. The service rep indicated that would cost about $200 to replace. I did not have it replaced but did take it to another shop that I go to and they had no problem pumping the tire up to spec which cleared the warning light. I am very disappointed in the dealership and apparently your training. I just purchase a new Avalon several months ago and moved to your facility over another one that is much closer to me because they also misdiagnosed a AC problem and wanted to replace my AC Compressor for over $1600 !!! Here again I took it apon myself to double check it . No problem it only needed a little more Freon and it is still running strong one year later. Because of that I moved to your Dealership. Now I have not much faith in your Mechanics as well as how they are trained. Not sure if I will take my 2010 back to you for future repair. . More

They always know what needs fixing, and only fix what needs fixing and don't ever try to sell you on things you don't need. In two words, Honesty and Integrity, is what I love about Metro Toyota. That is why I live up to their tag line and always send my friends to Metro! More
