In august 2021 I purchased a new Nissan Frontier from Vision Nissan Canandaigua at the time I also purchased a extended warranty that was recommended. In august 2022 I traded the vehicle in on a 2022 Hyu Vision Nissan Canandaigua at the time I also purchased a extended warranty that was recommended. In august 2022 I traded the vehicle in on a 2022 Hyundai also from Vision at the time I was told to reach out to Vision Nissan well it has been 9 months since then with no refund. They will not take my calls they are saying that it was a third party warranty and they are not doing anything for me. I reached out to a gentlemen name Cody numerous times. Now he does not respond nice way to do business. If you are looking a new or used vehicle look elsewhere. Used to be a good Dealership not any more. there I said my peace. More
Worst car buying experience of my life. I paid cash for my new Frontier, and once the check cleared they wouldn't even answer my phone calls. They said they were too busy to get my personalized plates from the DMV. I had to do that myself, and then they tried to bill me, after the final sale, for fees for 'title and registration fees'. After visiting the Vision Nissan Greece location, I was assured I would have a much better experience in Canandaigua. I arrived today 7/8/2022 and drove the vehicle I was looking for. I was told 3 times that the vehicle I was buying was going to be sold at MSRP. I drive the vehicle and love it. After my trade was looked at I was presented with a number much, much lower than I had received from many other dealerships. 4K lower to be exact. I explained what I was offered elsewhere and I was blatantly told that because they are selling it to me for MSRP, that they have to make money somewhere and that’s why my trade value was so much lower. REALLY? what a complete waste. So, they are back filling their ‘loss’ of a ‘market adjustment’ (I call it price gouging) by making up the difference with a low trade offer. Horrible customer service. I was more than willing to talk things through and try to come to some middle ground, but I was ultimately told that ‘they need to make money too’. I’m sorry, you’re making money off the vehicle I’m purchasing and the vehicle I’m trading in…that’s making money. You know who is losing money? Me, the customer. The same customer who was told that this dealership prefers to build relationships with customers, rather than ruin them over a ‘market adjustment’. Lies. All lies. I received a letter In the mail that I was prequalified to trade my current vehicle In. I called them. Spoke to one of the salesman. I explained my entire situation to them. Yes I still owe money. I explained the condition of my current vehicle. The whole situation. He says no problem come on in and we will see what we can do. I went there to get an appraisal on my car. I’ve looked up the blue book amount. With all the things. It’s blue booked for 8,000. I have an airbag light on on my dash. Also added that. The dealership looks at my car for an entire 39 seconds. Came back in and basically said my car was worth nothing. It’s a 2016 with 116 thousand miles on it. Very minimal body damage.. I park next to college students every day. So dings and a few scratches. The gentleman says you have all of these dashboard lights on. I have an airbag light on. He then says you need all new tires. My tires are well within inspection code. And says you also need breaks and rotors all the way around. I just got that done 4 months ago. So he tells me he can’t take a trade In I said okay no problem. Then he proceeded to tell me that I should surrender my current vehicle back to the lender because I’m inbetween a rock and a hard place. My car drives and functions fine. There are no actual issues with it to make it non functioning. I’ve maintained it the way it’s supposed to be maintained. He then also tells me if I surrender my current loan. He will get me a loan zero down and have me on my way. Also told me that this will not effect my credit. Where is that okay? I’m not mad because I didn’t get a loan. I really don’t NEED another vehicle. I really only called to see what my options were because they sent me a prequalified offer. But. I hope your normal practice isn’t to tell people to surrender their loans because it won’t effect them at all and they can start out fresh. That’s the most ridiculous thing I’ve ever been told in my life. I fully believe he seen a single female walk in the door and thought I was ignorant. More
