Was excited to purchase on upgraded version of my jeep. Had to wait to take it home because it had to be serviced. I was told it would be ready for over a week and when I asked for an accurate date, I feel Had to wait to take it home because it had to be serviced. I was told it would be ready for over a week and when I asked for an accurate date, I feel like the jeep was rushed to me. Only for the check engine light to come on 3 days later. Now 2 weeks in I don’t have a vehicle at all and no update from the guy that sold it to me or management in the current status of my “new” purchase. Update: Vehicle has now been returned twice due to check engine lights guy being on. Initially only the gas cap was replaced. 2 days later the check engine list is on again. This the worst experience I’ve had purchasing a vehicle. More
Cannot in good faith recommend this dealership. They advertise that they’ll give you up to $4,000 over market value for your trade… but *only* if you agree to the $3,996 service and $1,000 gap plan They advertise that they’ll give you up to $4,000 over market value for your trade… but *only* if you agree to the $3,996 service and $1,000 gap plans. Whoever trains these guys most certainly doubles as a magician because that “extra trade value” ✨ disappears ✨ the second you decline either one. I especially loved the part where the online inventory turned out to be fictional. They have four 2025 Jettas with under 10,000 miles listed on their website for $20,000 or less for sale. The second you get there? “Oh, we haven’t had those since January. Corporate handles the website, and they fall behind…” Sure. Okay. But don’t worry, they DID have a conveniently more expensive 2026 model available for “only” $5,000 more. How thoughtful, right? The entire experience was dishonest, pushy, and incredibly unsavory. Misleading advertising and hoping customers are too overwhelmed to notice is… certainly a choice. 🥸 More
All dealerships suck, but this one really takes the cake. I was told they'd be able to get the second keyfob from the previous owners, but then got told I need to buy one myself. It took them almost a full month to payoff my previous loan; I resorted to calling a couple time a week by the end of it and was practically told to chill out. I called to cancel the GAP insurance within 10 days of buying the car, checked in around the 4 week mark and was told my form was submitted and processing and to give it time, and today (about 7 weeks in) I was told they never submitted or processed any cancellation requests. W T F I can't rate this place any worse More

They are supposed to do routine check ups on the vehicle and tell you, that you can't take it any where else, just so they can take parts off of your vehicle and send you recalls about it and then tell you they don't have the part they stole from you. shady activity all around, they need to be investigated. and the contracts are lowkey scams too, they promise things and make them xxxx near unobtainable even though you already paid extra for it. Everything was con I booked an appointment for Friday, October 25th, after agreeing on an out-the-door price with the sales manager and Mr. Williams. Everything was confirmed, and we were ready to finalize the deal. However, just five minutes before my appointment, Mr. Williams called to say he didn’t know where the car was — apparently, a “sister dealership” had taken it. No prior notice, no apology, and no effort to make it right. This kind of unprofessional behavior and lack of transparency wastes people’s time and trust. If you’re looking to buy from a reliable dealership that honors its word, I strongly recommend avoiding Cypress Volkswagen. More
Have had serveral terrible experiences with this dealership from sales to service. They lie to get you in the door, play games with pricing and leave you sitting for hours while they "discuss with t dealership from sales to service. They lie to get you in the door, play games with pricing and leave you sitting for hours while they "discuss with their manager". We were told by Malinda to stop in and she'd have several cars ready for us to test drive. When we arrived she was no where to be found and we were told none of the cars she mentioned were even at the dealership. They lie, waste your time and try to scam you on price. They overspent building this dealership and are trying to push the costs off on their customers. The service department tries to tack on extra fees, told us we needed new tires with 10k miles on the car and when we called them out they say "oh, we mixed up the vehicles". If I could give zero stars I would! Avoid like the plague! More
Worst experience anywhere with VW Cypress, especially with one of the service advisors: Gregory Johnson. They tried to deny my brake pad warranty and insisted that brakes do not have warranty. I was fort with one of the service advisors: Gregory Johnson. They tried to deny my brake pad warranty and insisted that brakes do not have warranty. I was fortunate to have the VW warranty document handy. He looked at the warranty as if it’s the first time he’s seen it, however Jetta and TAOS are known to have defective rear brake pads between the 2022-2024 years. It was so bad that VW issued an extended warranty on the brake pads and related parts. FYI, brake pads were down to 2mm at the 20k mi in the 1 year ownership. When they found my warranty paper, they refused to resurface or replace rotors unless I pay for them. I reached out to the service manager and one of their techs and they all said the same thing. The manager tried to tell me that my letter is for TAOS (never had a Taos in my life), not the Jetta that I own and I had to point him to the JETTA printed on the warranty. They verbally confirmed it can be used as-is and there would be no vibrations, braking problems etc. I worked on a lot of vehicles and had bad experience with brakes when replacing pads without replacing/resurfacing the rotors. I asked them to put what they said in writing but they were dodgy and kept promising it will be fine. When I got my final document, nothing was mentioned about them not replacing the rotors and stating there would be no problems in brake performance. Thus, I went ahead and attempted to write in what they said. To my surprise, Gregory Johnson the adviser snatched the document away from me and said I have no rights to write anything on the document. I walked away, it’s just brake pads and rotors that I can replace in my driveway. Nonetheless, I am surprised a dealership would turn rude and dishonest over such trivial matters, especially since I did not make them replace what they deem unnecessary and merely wanted to note in writing that they advise I won’t have the problem that I foresee coming. This dealership and their people are rude, unknowledgeable and dishonest. I will stay as far away from them as humanly possible. More
RUN! Not just from this dealership, from all Volkswagon products. I have a 2024 Volkswagen atlas. It has had infotainment issues since the day I bought it Not just from this dealership, from all Volkswagon products. I have a 2024 Volkswagen atlas. It has had infotainment issues since the day I bought it. The screen goes completely blank, and you cannot control your AC, your heat, your back up camera, radio, etc. Volkswagon corporate will not allow service/warranty to change out the screen as they say they have an update coming, but have no ETA on when the update will be here. Keep in mind this has been happening to me personally since August 2023 and still no software update. I drive around constantly with my AC or heater blasting because I’m unable to control the climate once my screen goes blank. So keep in mind, if it’s cold in the evening and you have your heater on, and come back out in the morning and it’s Houston hot, you are stuck driving around all day with your heater blasting, or until the screen decides to come back on. This happens to me 7 to 10 times per week and lasts anywhere from 3-14 hours each time. Also, when the screen goes blank, I have issues with the auto braking. I was on 290 the other day, and the car slammed on his brakes automatically, without a car in sight. This happens quite a bit. If someone had been behind me, I would’ve been hit. It’s dangerous and ridiculously inconvenient. And It’s becoming more frequent. Volkswagon Cypress acknowledges an issue but refuses to buy back the car. The most irritating part is that they are still selling this product full well knowing there is a defect in the software. They do not tell you about it, you do not sign any sort of disclosures prior to purchasing. I’ve been told by sales and service, that this is happening to all of the 2024 atlas models. More

First, I recommend you call their main phone number and experience your call going to a voicemail box which is full with no option other than to hangup. That should be all the warning anyone needs. Their staff seems to have rotating titles. The reviews here that are three, four and five must have gone to a different dealership. Go sit in their customer waiting area and listen to the complaints. This dealership is so bad it is almost laughable. I did not finance the purchase but they managed to have the title issued incorrectly. Since they do not answer phone calls I had to make another trip to get that fixed. On the upside I do like the GTI and it will never see this dealership again. More
Yes, If I could give a negative star response, I would (Google will not let you post zero stars). Where to begin with the dishonest, unethical, and unprofessional salesman and some of the managers I tried (Google will not let you post zero stars). Where to begin with the dishonest, unethical, and unprofessional salesman and some of the managers I tried to deal with...yes we purchased a vehicle here, but will never ever purchase another from this dealership. I do realize that in this day and age in Houston, customers come and go, and you are also willing to brush off / blow off customers concerns and twist long-distance negotiations around to complete the sale and still survive in your business. Our "journey together" isn't over yet and I will find other means to get your attention. Make the trip to another Volkswagen Dealership in Houston where you should be able to believe you are working with and honest salesperson that you can trust to do the right thing. More
