I was told I needed certain repairs, paid $1,800, and drove off the lot. The very next day the same issue came back. When I brought it back, I was told it didn’t make sense to fix my car because of all the other repairs it needed. Why wasn’t I told that before spending $1,800? There was no conversation that the fix probably wouldn’t won't be worth it until I brought it back in. They said I could apply the $1,800 toward a new vehicle, but days passed with poor communication, and it didn’t seem like my “credit” made any real difference in pricing. It felt like a way to wash their hands of the problem. When I declined to purchase a car, I spent nearly two weeks trying to reach the service manager, Lewis—leaving multiple voicemails and being told he’d call me back, which never happened. I left over 7 voicemails and messages to Lewis. I even called the general manager, who claimed I hadn’t left a message. It wasn’t until I threatened to report the issue to the state that I finally got a call, only to be told there was no way I’d get a refund while them just protecting themselves. I should have stayed with my local mechanic, Northeast Auto, who has always been transparent—something this dealership failed to provide. If you want poor communication from most staff including management, zero accountability, and no transparency, go here. If you want honesty, respect, and care, go somewhere else. I will say that Stu from the service team was helpful in getting me into loaners and responding in a timely manner—kudos to him for actually showing care. Maybe management could learn from him. More
This has honestly been the worst dealership experience I’ve ever had. I’ve brought my car to World of Newton Volkswagen four different times for the same exact leak and it’s still not fixed. The first three visits, they told me it was the windshield, it was replaced 3 times, and the problem never went away. The fourth time, they said it was the sunroof “levels” and that they corrected it — less than two weeks later, it was leaking again. At this point, it feels like they either don’t know how to fix it or just don’t care. The customer service has been just as frustrating. A service manager refused to take my call. I had an appointment scheduled with a loaner and they cancelled it without even telling me. I left a message for the general manager and never got a call back. Spoke to another manager, he never called back. And the craziest experience before this, which should have been my clue to stop going there? After scheduling a detail in July, an employee actually called me on his personal phone (so it wasn’t on a recorded line) and told me not to even bring my car there. If that doesn’t say everything, I don’t know what does. I’ve always driven Volkswagens, but after this experience, this will be my last. It’s a shame the brand allows this dealership to carry their name. More

Let me start by saying this is the most professional dealership I have had the pleasure to work with in 45 years. First I was greeted by a sales associate named Lucas as I was just looking around. Every dealership I have had the pleasure to work with in 45 years. First I was greeted by a sales associate named Lucas as I was just looking around. Everyone that I came across was friendly and had a smile on their face. So far I was very impressed. We went to Volkswagen world of Newton to look at and possibly purchase a new Volkswagen Taos. As I strolled around the floor, the sales manager Bill came by and asked if he could help me in any way. I told I was interested in a new 2024 Taos. He had Lucas come over to further assist. Same salesman that greeted me when I walked in. I Advised Lucas what I was interested in and we put our coats on to go out and look at the inventory to see if anything fit my needs in their inventory.My wife and I found exactly what we wanted. We immediately took it for a Ride with Lucas and he answered all our questions. We went back to his desk to discuss a purchase. He told us I want you to be pleased with his service and the dealership service itself. We came to an agreement on a price that was considerably less than I thought we would be paying. Absolutely no games being played whatsoever, which I found so refreshing. Lucas stepped away for 5 minutes to talk with his Sales manager and came back and said we have a deal. No change in price no hard sell, just perfect. We gave a deposit as we had to do some transferring of some funds. No problem. The car was ours. We picked up the new Taos on Friday. Every done and completed to 100% of our satisfaction. If you are every going to purchase a VW new or used please don’t make a mistake, go see Lucas and his sales manager Bill before going anywhere else. We were so lucky to find a sales associate like Lucas and manager like Bill. This will be the only dealership I will use going forward in my life. What a blessing we found this dealership, and we love the car, it’s absolutely perfect. Thank you so much Volkswagen world of Newton. Keep up the exceptional customer service. More
this dealership needs to be investigated. terrible customer service from the new service manager tom carrino. this dealer never did a full complete brake job on my car leaving out the anti r terrible customer service from the new service manager tom carrino. this dealer never did a full complete brake job on my car leaving out the anti rattle clips on the rear caliper causing my brakes to fail early and unevenly. when i discovered this i went to the dealership and requested my money back. service manager at that time was jennifer alfasso who was more than happy to give me my money back. kept calling and found out she was no longer with the company the next week. new service manager comes in 2 weeks later and is stating no refund. got to the point where i have to get a lawsuit involved in this process for unsafe acts and dealer negligence. i would highly advice you never bring a car here for service. the volkswagen service advisor jen is amazing but the manager above her is very demeaning and talks down on you. and now with this lawsuit a simple refund of $1,200 which is pennys to them will now turn into upwards of 10 grand. will never be going back to this dealership.
