The service was good at first but turned horrible when the Assistant service Manager tried to offer me a service I didn’t want. So when I went to pay for my service I handed him my Credit Card. I signed m the Assistant service Manager tried to offer me a service I didn’t want. So when I went to pay for my service I handed him my Credit Card. I signed my papers and he threw the credit on the counter n told me to have a good day. I didn’t say anything at all I just left the dealership. Also they didn’t reset my system for my truck so my truck is still saying that there is still problems with my truck. More
I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction and deep concern over safety standards at this dealership. During a standard 30k mile service, my brake fluid was flushed. It was not, however, refi deep concern over safety standards at this dealership. During a standard 30k mile service, my brake fluid was flushed. It was not, however, refilled!!! I was charged for the full service and was allowed to leave the lot. Later that day I discovered that I had no brakes, after having driven my two children in the vehicle, to several locations, on major roadways. Upon returning home there was zero brake fluid in the system and the brakes failed completely. I count myself incredibly lucky, as the dealership's negligent oversight of a highly critical part of the service put me and my family in EXTREME DANGER. This is completely unacceptable. Additionally, while oil change is part of the standard 30k mile service, my car still had the old windshield sticker from my last oil change service at a different location when the vehicle was done. I can't be confident that the work was even done, and there's really no way to know. Even if it was just a lack of attention to detail, it was quite unprofessional. Coupled with a total lack of accountability, absolutely terrible communication and prioritization of rectifying a potential life-threatening error, in addition to being overcharged for labor and services and not getting my back vehicle back for five days, this has led me to lose all confidence in this dealership's competency and business ethics. This is not the first issue I have had with poor workmanship and customer service at this dealership, but it will be the last. As a long-time Volkswagen customer, this level of professionalism and service is disheartening. I cannot overstate my dissatisfaction. User's recommendation: Be very diligent with every step of the service process here. Insist on seeing ALL costs in writing before signing a service agreement. Then insist on a thorough walk-around and verification that all services were performed to standard. One would think that brakes would not be something one would have to question, but I'm living proof that they are. My experience is that the service team here cuts corners, some very dangerous and will overbill for labor. More
For three years I have been bringing my Sportwagen in for warranty AC issue (intermittent AC). Marc Scalera would not listen to the symptoms I explained. July 17, 2023 one of the Service Manager's Aramondo warranty AC issue (intermittent AC). Marc Scalera would not listen to the symptoms I explained. July 17, 2023 one of the Service Manager's Aramondo said my compressor was bad and that they would be bringing in a special tech. I called to see where my repairs were after two weeks of no communication. Aramondo was no longer there and Marc had no idea of what the problem was, was not aware that my car was there even though I did have a loaner car. He also said that there was nothing noted about a compressor being needed. Five (5) weeks later after much back and forth they replaced the Schrader valves. Prior to this I was repeatedly told that there were no leaks, and the AC worked fine. If they had listened to me and drove the car for about 15 minutes they would have known that the AC then stops working. My car has less than 4000 miles till the warranty expires. They assured me that if anything happens in the near future they will honor the warranty work. I said put it in writing, which they finally did after I would not bring the loaner car back. Stay tuned I have no faith in this dealership and their repair shop. More
My warning to any potential customers is this; This dealership is ready and willing to take your money, but not any accountability. I'm not the first to be duped by them, but hopefully I will be the la dealership is ready and willing to take your money, but not any accountability. I'm not the first to be duped by them, but hopefully I will be the last. I bought a used vehicle on 12/26/2020. The vehicle was on the dealer lot as a trade-in. At the time that I saw and test drove the vehicle it had not yet been cleaned, serviced, inspected, or otherwise - because of the very recent trade-in. First, they tried to charge me more than $3000 above than the advertised sale price. Fortunately, I picked up this 'error' before signing the purchase agreement and had them change back to the advertised price. Second, because of the price and the very low mileage of the vehicle I was assured I would have a full warranty for the first three months. That evaporated faster than the ink could dry on the purchase agreement. Third, the Blind Spot Monitoring (BSM) system is defective and has been since the first drive home. It reportedly requires two sensor modules in in the rear bumper to be replaced, coincidentally costing $3000. As a result, the safety suite on this vehicle is not functioning as designed and intended. The dealership is vehemently denying any responsibility. I strongly suspect one of two scenarios; First, the vehicle was not inspected prior to my purchase because of the very quick trade-to-sale time. Second, and even more egregious, VWN knew about the fault and chose not to repair it because of the cost, and knowing that NJ only mandates them to cover the powertrain for 90 days. Either way, service at this dealership stinks, and they do not stand by what their salespeople tell you, nor the products that they will sell you. Let my mistake be a lesson for you. More

To begin, I have been with VW since 2000. I dealt with Bill Gaffney ( General Manager) and leased a new Tiguan in November from this dealer. The process of getting a new car felt rushed and unorganized. T Bill Gaffney ( General Manager) and leased a new Tiguan in November from this dealer. The process of getting a new car felt rushed and unorganized. The vehicle was not gassed upon delivery. I was promised a check back to reimburse the empty gas tank, but I am still waiting on that. I was told my lease term was 36 months, but once I received my first bill, the lease agreement was changed to 48 months (I have never leased a car longer than 36 months, why would I start now). I tried contacting the dealer 8 separate times regarding these issues and still have not gotten a response back. Should have stuck with Paul Miller VW. More
